Twice I have stopped by The Pub to have a bite to eat. First time I entered. Sat at the bar for over ten minutes without being acknowledged. Finally left when the bartender decided to serve two customers who came in well after I did. Yes, they were better dressed than I (I was wearing jeans, a wool shirt and sweater. They were in sport coats.) It was apparent I was not to be served so I left. The second time my wife and I asked for a table for the two of us. The server took us to a table that was, for us, to close to the noisy bar. We asked for the next table over as it was a little quieter. The server said he could not sit us there as they had a seating chart (meaning the server for that table had already had one seated for the next patron had to be seated in another section). I told him no, either we get the table at which we will be more comfortable or we leave. I dont think I have ever seen a more blank expression on a serverss face. I waited a few more seconds while the server stood there giving me the aforementioned blank look. I used to work in an more upscale restaurant than The Pub and, regardless of the "server rotation" a if tables were available, you would give the patron the table of their choice. I have given them two chances and I will never be back. If you are looking for a good meal where you will be treated with respect, Try either Brews next door or the Mexican Restaurant down the street. Avoid The Pub.

My boyfriend and I could not decide where to eat on a Sat. night in Granville and the Broadway Pub looked pretty good. I wanted to watch the ND game, so we had to have a place with a TV. The restaurant is very clean and the bartender was more than happy to turn the TV channel for me. Our server wasnt bad, young guy who could have used a few more training sessions, actually a lot more training sessions, but the food was good. Their menu has too many items on it. Took us forever to decide what we wanted. It was like nothing ***really*** stood out to us. We had the pepper wantons and the spin and art dip (they didnt come out together like they should have, but that was okay, we were taking our time). I got the red pepper hummus and the house salad for dinner. The hummus is pretty good, has a nice bite to it and a lovely lemon aftertaste. What I really liked about the hummus is that they served the correct kinda pita with it and it was perfectly warm! My BF had the meatloaf sandwich, and he thought it was very good. The skillet corn didnt have much taste, though. I would go back again, but only after I try the other places in Granville out. Oh good beer selection too! And they have decent wine, as well.

This place has been my favorite hangout in Granville for years, even before they got a liquor license. Since their inception, theyve had superior food, especially their reuben, which is by far the best in town. Nowadays they maintain their reputation, with a great liquor selection (far better than brews, which only has that hellish, bare-bones noise-hole on the 3rd story), around 10 fine beers on tap, and a diverse, quality menu. Standouts include (besides the aforementioned reuben) the chicken tenders, which are unusually (and delightfully) juicy and tender, the beef stroganoff, which is served on an ample bed of mashed potatoes, and the fish and chips, which is portioned very generously. All of this great food is served with friendly, charming, down-to-earth service by friendly, charming, down-to-earth employees. Whenever you are in Granville, be sure to stop by this casual, delightful joint!

Great food. The location is not set for heavy traffic and during the busy hours this can be frustrating. There is no room to get in line for a table and if you are in line some folks dont know what a line is and cut it. My recommendation would be for the person taking names for tables to go around and interact outside instead of dealing with everyone in a super crammed area as people are entering and exiting the restaurant.

Very nice renovation results and I was pleased to find Stone Enjoy By 4.20.16 on draft. In an otherwise uncrowded bar with seemingly plentiful staff I sat with an empty glass until I ran out of time and patience. Finally had to stop another bartender to ask for a check. In that I dont often get a chance to stop and drink a couple beers in a bar, it seems a shame to have sat there with an empty glass for 20+ minutes.

This is a nice looking and very loud pub. The food is average, my Turkey Rueben was mostly bread and Russian dressing- very little meat. Service was slow, took a very long time to get drinks, then the food was slow - but they were quick to ask us to leave so they could give our seat to newly arriving customers. All-in-all, not a bad place but there are far better options.

Nice place. Newly rennovated. They did a very nice job. Nice beer selection and I have always thought the service both at the bar and tables was fine. While they have added pretty good pizzas to the menu overall I think the menu is lacking. Almost all of the menu has not be revamped in ages. Yet of all the mid range restaurants in Granville this is my favorite.

One of the last places in beautiful downtown Granville where you can cool off with a good food and beer. Waiters very attentive to customers, food generally good, have not find anything that I do not like yet. Great place for a quick lunch or unwind in the evening. Nice place, good service, amazing downtown, perfect for any evening out walk and chill.

Atmosphere of the pub is very welcoming, but the food and service needs improvement. Our appetizer of chicken bits were cold and hard as rocks. Ordered the Cuban sandwich and sweet potato fries and both were awful. The ham on the cuban looked like fried spam. Its not that hard to make bar food, especially when no one was there on a Tuesday night.

We really have seen this place become a popular destination since the remodel. It is very nice to sit up front, especially when the windows can be open. Besides the attractive decor we enjoy the food. Favorites are the fish and chips, the Rueben and the meatloaf sandwich. Lately we have been here a couple times a week.

We are locals here in Granville and this place is a top pick for us. Locally owned and has a great vibe. This place is worth checking out if you are in town and are looking for a place to grab a bite. Usually has a little wait but it is worth it. Hang out on the benches outside and enjoy Granville.

Location, selection, cleanliness, service, quality of food and atmosphere were all outstanding! We stopped for lunch after biking and were thoroughly impressed. So much so that we drove back from Dublin the next day just for the food. And we were not disappointed. Highly recommend.
