We went to Tequilaville for lunch after a hike at Blackhand Gorge. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and ordered a pitcher of beer. The keg blew as the server was pouring the pitcher, and he brought it to the table with about an inch of foam at the top. Most restaurants would just serve it as-is, but he followed up by bringing us an additional beer to make up for the bit of foam. The service that we received throughout our meal was perfect- he checked on us often enough without being overwhelming. The food quality and quantity was excellent; exactly what you would expect from a Mexican Restaurant in Ohio. We were served chips and salsa immediately after sitting down. I ordered a Chimichanga and my wife had a beef burrito. These were served with beans and salad. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting for great food, beer, and service!

First experience. The food took forever to arrive. Our waiter did not check on us. We waited for our bill for about a half hour. We found our waiter across the restaurant sitting down on a bench. We went to check out finally and it took about 15 mins for anyone to realize we were standing there because all the employees were hanging out in the back area. The food was great but not worth the all the time we waited.

My mojito was less than thrilling, so I wasnt getting too excited about the food and well, I am not sure why anyone goes to any other Mexican restaurant in this town. The fish tacos, well I will probably crave them late at night, the guacamole was so fresh tasting, the service was phenomenal. I will be back. I will bring friends back. And I will suggest this place to other people.

Huge plates of food enough for multiple meals for $10.They dont portion their food! Never pinned down waiting on one server to get back to your table. Any employee that passes your table may ask you if you want another drink, etc. They are always bringing, or taking something. Great Mexican atmosphere for Newark.

Service was s l o w and waiter seemed too busy... kept walking away as we tried to order. Tamales were pretty good I didnt order a bucket of margaritas but a lot of people did. I suppose if thats your only focus then it could be a 4.7? Parking in the creepy hotel parking lot is another minis. I wont return...

Worst experience EVER. Took over 45 minutes to get food once ordered, ranch tasted funky, took forever to bring a check. Loud, busy, and restrooms in basement ,also u Pay the cashier and waiting room is severely PACKED...

Authentic mexican food. Had vendors in from San Antonio and they didnt expect to find authentic mexican food in Newark Ohio. Have to try the El Moceyate with a house made Sangria. My go to meal when I visit Tequilaville.

Staff is friendly. We were seated quickly for relatively busy Saturday. Food was delicious! Even though I asked for no sour cream (lactose intolerant) my husband didnt mind the extra. We will definitely come again.
