The entire evening at this restaurant was terrible from start to finish. First of all, the waitress that we had was not very good at checking in with us and went long periods of time being nowhere in sight despite the fact that other waitresses around us seemed to check in frequently with their tables. There were 3 of us, so we were sharing pitchers of margaritas, and it took 10+ minutes to get each round- even though they were crowded that seemed ridiculous. Adding to that irritation was the waitress previously mentioned inability to come give an update or even bother to apologize for the wait each time. We eventually ordered food after a few pitchers and also ended up having to wait 25+ minutes for the food to come out. When the food finally did come out, all of our tacos were cold and the corn souffle was raw in the middle. We asked to speak with a manager, and when the person on duty came out she seemed very angry and acted irritated that we were not pleased with our food. She did agree to have the kitchen remake the food and at least offered to not charge us for it, which was the one positive way she reacted. To cap the whole evening off, when we got the bill we found out that the pitchers of margaritas were a complete rip off. We had ordered pitchers of "the mustache ride" and the pitchers were the smaller variety that held about 3.5 glasses of margarita. You maybe could have squeezed another .5 of a glass out if you didnt mind that it would be mostly melted ice. The pitchers were $30 each, even though an individual margarita was $7. So we spent $30 for 3.5 margaritas that we could have ordered individually each time and only paid $24.50. At that point we were so fed up and didnt want to deal with the managers attitude so we just paid and left, but you better believe that we will never be going back or recommending it to anyone we know.

I came here to meet my friend at the bar. The first impression of the place was good. High ceilings, many windows and very open atmosphere for the actual size of the bar/ dining room area. Came in to watch OSU basketball and was impressed with the amount of games on. There isnt another bar in the Clintonville area with this many big screens to watch sports on. My bartender Liz was awesome, very attentive and on point. I inquired about the grilled fish taco, she said it was her absolute favorite. She was busy, and a little skeptical because of that, I went with Lizs suggestion. I ordered 2 for 7$ and they were worth every penny. My soft tacos were an explosion of flavor accompanying my chips & salsa on the house ! The Buckeyes won that night and we found a new place to watch some games and have some tasty eats. Cant wait for springtime and the patio, another one of the few commodities in this area.

Awesome place. There was a little bit of a wait when we had arrived (we had a party of 6 so thats understandable) and bartenders made sure that we had drinks while we waited. After getting seated, waitress was prompt with waters and drink orders. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Most of us got quesadillas and we all agreed that they were really good. Plus, they werent skinny quesadillas. They were thick and really cheesy with lots of flavor. We will definitely be back!

This has to be one of my favorite local eateries at the moment. They have killer tacos and provide a self-serve chip and salsa station. If you havent been, I definitely recommend the Crunchweezy and the guacamole. They both have excellent flavor. Another favorite of mine is their queso dip. There is one with and one without chorizo. I highly recommend this place and I also know they have another location in southern Columbus if this location is out of your way.

Last time I was here 13 months ago the food was fantastic! This time out of the 9 tacos our party ordered 2 were slightly warm. The other 7 were ice cold. Like refrigerator cold. They made it right and comped the 9 tacos. Server was very apologetic for the cold food, not her fault. 100% the chefs responsibility to make sure the food is ready to go out. When I say cold I mean no heat what so ever. I will come back when Im in town but this was disappointing.

The bar staff was wonderful! Our waitresss on the other hand, was awful. For starters, it took forever for her to come to our table and when she did, she asked "what do you want". The queso was forgotten, we had to go and get our own silverware, we never got extra napkins and she was extremely rude. The only time she spoke to us was when she complained about how busy she was. Im not impressed and wont go back.

Steak taco salad was great! The atmosphere is good. The salsa and chips are always fresh and tasty. I was caught off guard by the fact that they had a $12 beer on the menu now, and didnt catch the price until I got the bill. Thats my bad, just pay more attention to the beer prices! (Previously I had never seen anything more than $7 on the menu and had mostly stopped paying attention to the price)

1. Our server was on coke 2. Did not receive items ordered 3. Another server dropped a tray on the ground and placed right back up on the counter 4. Cold salsa Server didnt bring out dip, asked for dip, received dip after meal was over, dip was not taken off bill, asked for Togo container twice, was given free taco coupon which requires me to go spend more money at restaurant. Fat chance.

All about the atmosphere here! I am so happy Clintonville added Local Cantina. Its relaxed, fun and can accommodate fairly large groups. My boyfriend and I frequent often for good drinks and guac! I have been to other local cantina locations and did not receive the same experience. Clintonville staff is attentive, positive and laid back. We are going back tonight with friends!

Horrible service at this location. Bar tenders were not nice. We had to move from the bar to a table in order to get service. Queso was decent but tacos were all bland. Tasted like canned chicken and shrimp. The pineapple wasnt fresh either. Not worth the money. This is the second time Ive been here and I dont know why its as busy as it is. Never coming back.

The tacos were delicious. Our server was very sweet and prompt. My only issue is that the tacos were watery and oily so the soft corn shells got soogy, ripped, and made a MESS. Not a good place for a date, lol, especially a first date. I ended up eating the innards of the taco with a fork and leaving the shells behind. Not worth $4-5 a taco.

Went there during Columbus Craft beer week. They had some excellent pairings and a great tap and bottle selection. I had a delicious green chili hash, and my wife got tacos. Our biggest gripe is that the migas tacos...had no eggs. Thats the defining ingredient in migas. Overall, okay, but definitely missing a bit of authenticity

Very tasty food in a local restaurant with a bit of a bar vibe. Im a big fan of the chips and salsa and the quesadillas. It can get extremely busy on weekday evenings. My favorite time to go is Sunday for lunch when its still a bit quiet. Thats the best time to bring the kids too.
