I did not enjoy my experience at the CBC Restaurant! At the beginning my experience was already off to a bad start because after we were seated we had to wait a very long time for the waiter. Finally he came but did not bring any of us waters leaving us parched. Once we received our drinks my dad noticed his Diet Coke was not carbonated at all. He asked for a new carbonated drink and said if not water would do. So he received a water instead not to mention my mothers ice tea was disgusting. Next our food came. My dad didnt get any sausage gravy that was supposed to come with his breakfast so he had to eat a dry meal. My mother asked for avocados on the side of her tacos but they were mixed in with the taco mix that was worse then my mothers ground beef mixed with a packet of taco seasoning, they even used Ortega taco shells. For my sisters meal she asked for a water because of the spice and never got it. Last but not least he included the ice tea and Diet Coke on the Check when we sent them back. I will never ever go back to that restaurant with its horrible service and etrocious food.

My husband and I came in were treated to a very kind, personal and knowledgeable server (shame on me for not remembering his name) and ordered drinks (Mary Jane, and two beers for him, both of which he really enjoyed) and an appetizer to start (AMAZING nachos--HUGE portion!). We ordered entrees, but had a ton of nachos to work through. The manager thought that our entrees took too long to come out from the kitchen (though, honestly, we didnt notice due to the nacho coma) and he took care of our check! The restaurant had already earned a return visit based on the merit of the food/drink alone, but now I will shout it from the rooftops: DEFINITELY go check this place out! I feel very confident that a remarkable experience is offered to every guest, and you will leave with a full belly and happy heart!

Stopped in after a long Sunday at the Ohio State Fair. Was surprised that they only had one if their namesake beers on tap, although they had a nice selection of other local brews. My biggest complaint is that the food took forever to come out. Half of my partys orders sat under heatlamps for a good 15 minutes before being brought out. And the kids meals were last to arrive, which is a big no no. The server tried to place a scalding hot plate in front of my 14 month old baby. Earlier he had placed a full glass of beer in front of her which we barely saved before it spilled all over her. My burrito was ok, but lukewarm from sitting so long. The place wasnt even that crowded so Im not sure what the problem was. Overall, Im in no hurry to go back.

We went to the CBC before going to a show downtown. I had a fish sandwich and a couple hours after eating it I started feel weird and sweating. Once I got home I started throwing up violently and this continued throughout the night. The next day I was fine, just dehydrated. I called the CBC and informed them that I had food poisoning and the manager on duty told me that it was not food poisoning because food poisoning takes 24-48 hours to set in! The best part is, the manager told me that to prove it was food poisoning they would need a "stool sample!" I even told the manager I was not telling them to get something free or refund but to just inform them they may have some bad fish.

One of my friends wanted to celebrate her birthday at CBC so we decided to give it a chance. We arrived at 8P on a sat and were warmly greeted. Thats where the positive experience stops. My friends arrived at around 830 and we did not get drinks for 30 minutes. The order was taken around 900 and we did not receive our meals until 945. The salmon I had was moderately ok but it was on a bed of bland white rice. Nothing to write home about and the meal was expensive. I commented to the manager that I was willing to pay for the meal but that I would not be coming back. He also shredded my comment card in front of me. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Despite it being the Columbus Brewing Companys restaurant, the beer menu was dominated in number by beers other than CBCs (albeit local ones), which I found extremely odd. We ordered a flight which included the two beers of theirs that were available and they were decent, but there seemed to be none available to purchase and take back to our out-of-state residence, on premise or locally at stores. The food here was just ok and the service was fine. I was expecting was more of a tap room setting and perhaps with more interesting food selection.

Went here for a going away party for a co-worker and was told that we could not reserve tables. However, every table in the restaurant was reserved??? Unfortunately, we had to stand at the bar to eat, drink and engage with one another. It was crazy busy which is understandable BUT treating people with a nasty attitude is not the way to do business. Regardless of what you are ordering! Needless to say I will not be back due to the terrible service from the bartenders and the feeling of being the odd person out because of the color of my skin.

Omgggg you have to try this place!!! Started with pretzel bread which definitely did not disappoint! I had the filet medium rare with wedge salad and garlic smashed potatoes..... Seriously the best Ive had! They got my steak PERFECT!!!! My husband had the filet medium with garlic fries and he LOVED it!! We ended with the peanut butter buster which literally tasted like heaven. The beer was good but the Ruby slippers is where its at!!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you CBC for an amazing meal and GREAT service!!!

The quality of the beer and food was OK. The beer choices were good for a micro brewery if you are into that type of beer. I am not however some in the party were and they appeared to enjoy the local brew. The food was average as we tried several dishes. I do not recommend the pizza however, the crust had that store bought flavor and the toppings were tasteless. As for wood stove hmmmm... i doubt it... Highly recommend making reservations and even then plan on being seated late.

I go to CBC often but the last two times Ive gone, the food and service were not great like usual. I call CBC my "go to" place and frequent often due to the spinach dip and wood fired vegetable plate because I know I can depend on wonderful food. The last two times the service was very slow...not well staffed. My food was rather cold when delivered and just did not taste as good. Its as if they have a new chef or something. Now I have to find another place. So disappointed!

I have been to CBC a number of times since moving to Columbus ten years ago. It has had consistently good food and service over the years. I have always been happy with what Ive ordered. While the disassociation from the Columbus Brewing Company is a little disappointing as a consumer, it will not stop me from coming back. I always liked getting beer flights of all the CBC beers when Id come in, but they have now offered a wider selection of craft brews from all over.
