I brought a good friend here for dinner and was utterly embarrassed at how disappointing it was, especially when Columbus has so many great places to eat. We were both disappointed in the appetizer selection, but ordered a flat bread, which was nothing more than mediocre. Then we both ordered the filet, which was good, but the side of tomato and feta did nothing for the steak. It was seriously the worst $250 Ive ever spent on a meal. I think Cameron should consider going to Lindeys for their tornadoes, which consists of 2 4 oz filets, whipped potatoes, and crispy onions- all for a lower price than Hudsons mediocre filet dish and doesnt even compare in taste and quality. Hudson 29- never again.

We ate here when it first opened and liked the food but when we tried to come back a second time on a Friday the person we talked to stated that they had no reservations available but that they take walk-ins and we should just do that. When we walked in on Friday around 6:00pm, the hostess told us that the first table available was at 9:30pm and that they were committed to holding their reservations until then even though the restaurant was mostly empty at the time. We stormed out after passing 4 empty tables and will never go back again. I have never been treated so horribly and will tell everyone to stay away. This place is a disgrace.

We went to Hudson 29 tonight for our anniversary. Very pleased with the ambiance very romantic. We were promptly seated then greeted by our waiter Hunter who was amazing. Knew every detail about the menu to the point of being able to recite the dessert menu from memory. My ribeye was anazing. The mashed potatoes and corn also incredible. My wifes filet came out very bland and unseasoned. Bill stopped by our table and asked if the chef could make another for her and it was great. He made it a point to ensure her happiness! The mark of a great restaurant. Recommend for special occasions!

Service was excellent - up to the usual CM standards - but the food was, at best, mediocre. Way overpriced for the quality of the meal. The menu seems somewhat confused - is it Asian; is it American? We were looking for an Asian fusion type experience, but Hudson 29 seems more like a Golden Corral with a little sushi on the side. The wine list is good. Our table had 2 sushi rolls, a bread appetizer, 2 salads, 2 desserts and 4 glasses of wine for $200.00 (inc. tip). Very disappointed.

Out of towner who stops occasionally. Had always had a good experience but pretty much over the place now. Not sure what the bartenders issue is; either very pretentious or just a jerk. The food is great however the prices are very scattered...you have sandwiches in the $15 range then move up into $30-40 range if you want anything else. Their house cocktails are amazing and very moderately priced however.

We just took my mom here for brunch on her birthday, though Ive been here many times before. I love their house-bottled cocktails and dip trio to start. Their salt & pepper seared tuna is excellent as are the scallops and salmon, but Ive never had a bad item here. I do wish they would have a gluten-free option for dessert, but there are plenty of gluten-free options on the rest of the menu.

Extremely overpriced and simply is just not very good. A large group went for a birthday celebration every single person was underwhelmed with their food. The highest marks of praise were "it was fine". Reviews often get overstated, but I am being 100% honest when I say that the $16 burger is an exact copy-cat of a Big-Mac, except that McDonalds actually manages to make a better version.

Absolutely hated this restaurant. I have never been treated so poorly. Told us it would be an hour to sit inside and then after the hour they tried to sit us outside during a storm, after we explained that we didnt want to sit outside again then told us it would be another hour to sit inside. Drinks were over priced and the bartender had no idea what he was doing. I will never go back.

Good but not great food. Very good service and surroundings. Pretty expensive. The main problem is the loud music and noise. We went with a party of six. You could only hear the person immediately next to you. Noise level was even more intolerable in the room where you sit in view of the kitchen. We wont be back.

We only had drinks here, but I cant wait to go back and try the food. We sat at the bar, and the service and atmosphere were both wonderful. I love the design and decor. We saw the food coming out of the kitchen and it looked amazing, but unfortunately we had already eaten. Looking forward to stopping in again.

Pineapple upside down donuts are great. Service was slow and inattentive. Wine list is nice but markup is uncalled for and overpriced. Music is too loud and way too modern for this type of eatery. Overall, there are many other establishments you should spend your dining dollar on.

The appetizers were ok, I cant recall what we got. But I do remember the reuben sandwich which I think was the best I have ever had. Was there for a work function so I didnt have to pay for anything but I do remember the prices on the menu, little pricey.

Prime rib was flavorless and not cooked to medium rare. It tasted like it was cooked 2 nights before then thrown in the oven to be reheated. It was tough and for the price and the name you would have thought you were getting an amazing cut of meat.

Nice atmosphere and a fantastic prime rib! All of my food was delectable, the servers were great and the whole experience was very relaxing. Only negative was the music they were playing. Modern pop doesnt really suit a high-class restaurant?

Worst meal in Columbus since I moved here. Cameron Mitchell should go back to chef. School in NYC, New Orleans, Chicago, or SanFrancisco. Salmon was probably micro waved to cook. Prime rib flavorless. Applebees competition.

Very good food, including appetizers, lunch and dinner menus, and desserts. I was there with a large party for lunch (12 people), and the service was great and everyone really enjoyed their food. The Reuben is fantastic!

I ordered pasta "al dente." Staff had no idea what I was talking about. Our server brought par-boiled pasta out. (TWICE!) Great service, but kitchen staff surprisingly lacking in basic pasta preparation technique.

Another excellent offering from Cameron. Misses 5-stars based on value for money when compared with his other restaurants (Cap City stands out, though Husdson 29 is a higher end place.)

Went here for drinks and a light lunch. Their artisanal cocktails blew me away. Food was good, nothing outstanding. The environment was a bit stuff, and overall price point is high.

Very good food (had the chicken with side of couscous and delish tartar for appetizer) and no problems with prompt and courteous service. Came on a Sunday night

Wow! Great service and food. I especially liked their bottled-on-site Aviator cocktail. You have to save room for the carrot cake... or take one to go.
