This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. We came at odd times both times. Today was for a late lunch (2:30) and the other time was for an early dinner. Each time the place was not busy, but I would not expect. It to be at those times. The server was very attentive without being over-bearing. For the dinner menu, there was a very wide choice of what appeared to be much more authentic Asian cuisine. For lunch, there were several choices that were only $6.95. This included the entee, soup, egg roll, and fried rice. The food was very fresh and tasty. My partner has pickled Chile with chicken and shrimp. It was spicy without being overly hot. I chose the twice cooked pork, which I wasnt crazy about, but it was because I did not like one of the ingredients. It was well done, just not my preference. I will definitely come back to try some other dishes

My husband and I went to Fortune for the first time over the weekend with fellow dim-sum diners. We all liked it! We picked out our traditional favorites from the carts: shrimp and pork shumai, rice noodle with shrimp, har gow, deep fried taro, taro cakes, and egg custard tarts. It all tasted good! The location is easy to find and to get in and out. There was no wait to be seated. The dining room is huge. We didnt feel crowded while we were eating. The servers were polite. There were no traffic jams with the dim sum carts, but there didnt seem to be many carts on the floor at any given time. I would have liked to have seen more dim sum options in rotation. The selection seemed small. But then again, we are not too adventurous with the dumplings we pick. Well definitely go back!

First time eating Dim Sum here at Fortune Chinese. Weve been going to Sunflower on and off for years, but it is super crowded on weekends. Glad we made the switch! The egg custard tarts were great - the crust was flaky and the filling was just set and like velvet. Also loved the har gow, shu mai, Char Siu Bao and lots of other things I cant remember the name of. There were only 3 carts circulating, but with the crowd on hand it was sufficient. We never felt as though the staff ignored us. Our one regret is that we did not pace ourselves. We got there right as they opened, and we missed some of the items that came out after we had ordered our first round because we were too full! Cant wait to go back with lots of friends!

Already visited twice! Super impressed with how they redid the interior of the building. The staff is very kind, and while Ive only gone there for traditional Cantonese dimsum, I absolutely loved it. Brunch time is very busy and the dimsum is fresh, but whats best about Fortune is that the dimsum is served 11a-9p! Later in the evening its made to order and comes out piping hot and is absolutely delicious - even better than when the carts are run around. Definitely make this stop if you want homestyle comfort dim sum. And if its your first time, you wont be disappointed!

Mediocre dim sum. Service? More l like circus. If you are not Asian the waiters ignore you. The food was mediocre at best. One would think with so many Chinese people there the food would have been better. Asked for the same dish 5 times, two times twice with the same person, it never came. Had to reach out with my hand to get the l lady pushing the cart to come back to our table, that is after she looked at us and passed us by. In whole a train wreck. Sunflower is much better for dim sum.

We went on a Tuesday around 7pm. The huge dining room was mostly empty so our server was very attentive. If you enjoy authentic Sichuan dishes then this is a good place to check out. Where else in town can you get Squirrel Fish and more innards dishes than youve ever seen. Portions were huge, prices reasonable. The seafood velvet soup was awesome. As was theclear noodle with intestines appetizer. Hope to try the dim sum one day. Windsor Canada has among the best!

We were the only non Chinese family in the restaurant. We were totally snubbed. Kind Chinese family ahead of us told them that we needed to be seated (they came in behind us but as they were Chinese were moved in front of us) and they gave my family and I a blank stare and didnt return. After about five minutes of waiting my wife and I decided if this was any indicator of how the meal service was going to be we should leave. So we did.

This is a new Chinese restaurant recently opened. Have had dinner and Dim Sum here. The service is chaotic, no one seems to know whats going on and everything is very slow. The food is OK. Slightly on the salty side and a lot of the Dim Sum is cooked from frozen packets. I hope that all the issues are related to brand new opening.

Big and spacious dining room. Quality food and authentic Sichuan. Also a welcome addition to the very few restaurants serving Dim Sum in Columbus. So two great fares under one roof. Will be returning for sure.

First time there for dim sum. Pretty awful! Mostly frozen food dressed up. Nothing fresh. One of our dish even had ice cubes inside. Sun flower restaurant down the road on Sawmill is far superior.

Even one star is much for this place. Unless youre Chinese, youd better speak Chinese to be treated like a descent customer. Id rather go Tanske Japanese market and buy frozen Dim Sum .

The food was good, dim sum was great [we were thrilled to find a place in Columbus with good homemade dimsum] But the service was much to be desired.

Interesting concept and decor, but poor service and low quality food. It was fairly priced, though.
