Decent food, but the staff is so rude and dysfunctional. First time, young man was so rude I felt uneasy as if I had come in when they were trying to go home and it was only 5pm. The second time ( a year later), I came in to get a "to go" item, and again, the staff seemed as if it was a bother to get the take out. A year later, I called from work to get something for a take out at lunch. Young guy answers phone. and I asked about getting an order to go. The other phone rings, and he asked for me to be placed on hold. The person on the other phone got a take out, so I had to sit and wait for 5 minutes hearing him go through the menu items to take that persons order. So impolite!!!!!!!! 3rd time is the charm....no more time spent on a place that could care less how they treat others. If they treat customers like this, then they more than likely do not care how they treat the food. The young guy needs to be moved away from the phone and front because he is not doing this business any good. Please give him a video game and let him sit at one of the empty tables so he can be much happier. Problem solved. Peking Palace is the best I have ever tasted in Franklin, and they are so polite. Great Customer Service, just wished they were opened on Monday too.

New China is one of the most authentic Chinese food restaurants in the Nashville/Franklin area. We learned about New China about a year ago and have loved going there since then. It is more intended as a take out restaurant and you can call the order in and pick it up later. I highly recommend New China if you truly love Chinese food. The prices are reasonable and the food tastes great.

There is nothing worse then walking into a restaurant and immediately feeling like your being there is a "bother" to the staff. The staff made me feel extremely unwelcome the entire visit! Food tasted like dish soap. If I could give zero stars I would!!!!!!!
