This is my favorite Chinese place on this side of town. Mainly because the place has plenty of seating, is clean, and has plenty of food choices. Jade Buffet is kind of tucked away from the mall around the corner, but its well worth it to stop in. They have a plentiful salad bar, sushi, and nice big round buffet. Oh and they have the traditional ice cream machine and pretty well stocked dessert bar. There are plenty of different choices on the buffet from noodles, to 3 different kinds of rice, beef, pork, seafood chicken, veggies, and some American style food as well. Did I mention sushi and seafood? True most buffets dont quite do sushi "right", but I will attest that they do a pretty bang up job! And have a selection to go with it. The only thing that docks this down a star is the service. The wait staff is very chatty with each other, and sometimes it may take a while to get refills. I suggest always ordering water if you get something else to drink as a back up. But other than that its a great lunch spot!

My girlfriend and I are very frequent customers but will not return ever. Every time I feel rushed. Especially if I go back for seconds. My girl thought it was just my imagination the first few times I mentioned feeling rushed out... WELL... this time the same woman who always rushes us out who is usually taking care of our table was not on our table today yet while we were at the dessert bar ( I got pudding and my girl a cookie and cpl jello cubes ) the same lady who always seems to be rushing us out decided to start cleaning up our table while we were getting dessert before we even got a bill or were finished... We come back to find my girls spoon in her drink which was still 3/4 of the way full.. needless to say RUDE and never going back.

Food was terrible!!!! Wouldnt feed it to a wounded stray dog. Everything was bland, hard, cold and sickening. Has anyone noticed the insane amount of mold on the air conditioning ventilation above the Buffett? I think this place flooded before based on the walls, baseboards, and bathroom doors. The owner talked on the phone and paced around customers the whole time and when I paid my bill. She was wearing a pink dress. No one on the staff even spoke to us. Oh and by the way the salad dressings and cookies are from Aldis. I also found a hair in one of my gross desserts. I paid about 10 dollars a person and pooped out one of my organs three hours later. Have fun................

You get what you pay for. I paid for a typical and average Chinese-American buffet, and Jade Buffet certainly delivered to those expectations. The restraunts design, both exterior and interior, are both beautiful, and the food is always fresh and warm. There is no buffet out there (or at least in Greater Cincinnati) that has authentic and 5-star quality Asian food. Jade Buffet is doing just fine as an average buffet where you pay an average sum to eat as much food as you want.

Ive been here twice. On both occasions the results were the same. I like to give a second chance as everyone has a bad day once in awhile. The food was so so and they do not replenish empty items very quickly at all. So, you pay for a full buffet only to find some items arent there as the pan is still holding the last remnants of the dish for long periods of time. I realize this is a buffet. Some are better than others. I will not be back for a third time.

Out of the past 4 times we have been here after trying to find the closest good Chinese buffet, only once was it subpar. We must have caught the end of a lunch rush, which is never a good time to go to any buffet anyway. Other than the one time, the food is always hot, tasty, has a good, decent selection. About the best you can hope for out of a your typical cheap Chinese buffet. The people are very friendly. We are actually going there for dinner tonight.

Food was OK, not as good as some other buffets in the Cincinnati area and for the money not really worth the cost - one person was just over $12. I ordered hot tea and was expecting oolong tea but got some lemon flavored herbal tea, not really good. Food just seemed to be bland tasting even when the "label" said spicy. Did have a lot of seafood type entrees, but not a lot of typical Chinese food.

I am not too picky when it comes to cheap buffets, but I find this one of my favorites! It is close to work, has GREAT food at lunch time, and for a pretty good price. Their sushi is actually pretty good (for the price) and I love the Hibachi grill where you can hand the cook exactly what you want to eat. Overall, my favorite lunch spot! And the perfect price for the quality of food!

The food is decent, its a bit pricey in my opinion for what you get! I dont like the wait staff because they hover over you like maggots on poop. I like to eat in peace and not be constantly watched like its a crime to make more than one plate. Overall I guess thats what you get for a buffet, but just let me be especially since I am paying for my family of 6!

Best crab rangoon Ive had in a long time. Food was fresh and not hard as some describe. Nice atmosphere, great service, great variety (when at 8:30 when I got there). Winderfull hot tea. I would return and recommend to anyone. Also a nice touch is the round buffet instead of the typical straight line food counters.

Staff is friendly, food is good, not great, nice variety. They need to keep the buffet filled and could use s higher temperature so food vendors is hot..but overall a comfortable, quiet place with hood good and a good choice if you are short on time. They also have a personal Hibachi for a fresh alternative.

Staff never let me even get halfway in a drink without a refill, and everything is tasty, hot (if its supposed to be), and fresh. Normally dont risk getting something Ive never tried at a buffet, but I actively had to find something I didnt like at the buffet. And I couldnt find anything I didnt like.

Staff is extra helpful. We are vegetarians, had to ask a few questions with the sushi- .They went out of their way to point out the meatless items- egg rolls, etc. Just finished our meal. Food was fresh. The food had flavor! Neat & clean. Thank you staff for such a great job.

Went for dinner. Food was subpar. Even for a buffet, the egg & spring rolls were hard, the chicken was undercooked, & except for the spicy dishes the food was bland. I might give the lunch time a try food might be fresher then. But dinner wasnt worth the $

Good for what it is. Its a good buffet for a reasonable price with lots of parking. Not the best food in the world, but good none the less. Interesting mix, thou the place could use a bit more cleaning.
