My first time here. Ive been to many Indian restaurants around the country. Many are very similar. The Bistro is significantly better than any Ive ever patronized. Two main reasons: The quality of all selections in the buffet (and I tried a bit of each) was as fresh and flavorful as one could ask for. Very delicious! Clearly quality cooking. This alone would keep me coming back. But I was quite surprised at the number of choices provided which was at least double what Ive usually encountered in such establishments. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at a couple of choices which Ive rarely seen in a lunch buffet. A wonderful egg curry and and a terrific fish curry! Their dinner menu was very impressive as well. The menu itself was beautifully designed and had interesting information about the different regions of India and where different curries are commonly found and/or originated. The dinner menu also has a great many choices of curries and biryanies and (my favorite) goat curry! I could go on but you need to see for yourself. Yes, I highly recommend the Bistro, and yes I am sorry I can only give 5 stars. It is that much better than any Ive been to in the past. Ive found my eatery!! Oh, and No ... I dont work for, or know anyone associated with the Bistro. Just found out about it today through Google!

My family absolutely LOVES this place! If youre an adventurous eater, you have got to try this. If youre not adventurous, thus is a great place to start. Most of the food on tge buffet is not spicy or mild and Im sure everyone would like their seasonings. Our favorite items are the Lam Do Piaza (cubes of lamb in a delicious sauce with bell peppers and onion), spinach with cubes of some kind of white cheese, chicken masala (shredded chicken in another flavorful sauce), Naan (flat bread thats essential to use to get all the delicious sauces), a sweet shredded carrot dish thats a dessert, Kheer (similar to rice pudding & especially nice after a flavorful meal), and the fruit in a bright orange-colored mango sauce. You really cant go wrong and will want to samole everything on the buffet. We like the buffet so much & the price is so reasonable that weve never even looked at the menu. Enjoy!!!

Wonderful people. Owner and staff are kind and care what you think about the food. Great price for the buffet that is consistently good and has pretty great variety. Every Friday and Sunday they have carrot halwa. This is a rarity for Indian buffets. They rotate a lot of dishes and have special dishes, as well as different desserts. This is one of those places that when you mention going for Indian, people ask if you know about this place. Great find

We travel the region looking for some of the best eats to share and this is a top pick! (We have only enjoyed lunch buffet here.) Always hot, always fresh, with upbeat music. The main wait staff has been with them for many years. We have always found them to be extremely kind and courteous. One of our top points is the food is well balanced and not overly salty. They choose to use high quality ingredients and less salt.

Probably the most friendly owner and staff Ive ever encountered. The food is great, and the buffet is always an awesome deal. New location is more colorful and bright. My fiance and I go there about once a week. We always look forward to it. They often bring out some sort of complimentary appetizer for regulars. It is a clean establishment and I would recommend it to anyone who digs Western style Indian food.

Food was excellent. The decor was ok, the lighting could be toned down, I felt like I was in a laundromat for some reason. They have no liquor license, which is great if you know...they allow BYOB! The server and other staff were very friendly and outgoing, which is hard to find frankly. Overall, food was 5*, just need a little help on the decor/lighting. I will go back regardless though!

First, I give the food 5 stars. Well balanced with traditional spices. Not too fatty and not too salty either. My mom had a friend from India who recommended this place to her. It gets a 4 overall because, at least when I went last, the place could use some different decor. Great if you want to do take out or sit in, but know that it has a very basic feel to it.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Cincinnati, and Ive eaten at many of them. The dishes have much more flavor and complexity than the more well-known places in Hyde Park and such. Reasonable prices, BYOB. Good buffet selection as well, and they have a dinner buffet a few nights a week, which is rare. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Definitely rivals the many options for Indian food available closer to the city. I ordered the chicken makhani and they didnt skimp on the heat when I asked for it to be spicy. I also ordered the paneer pakora and would recommend that as well. The staff was friendly and attentive and I plan on taking my family here the next time I am in town.

Our go to for heavenly Indian food. They make ours vegan upon request and its the best Ive had. Every time. Consistent. Staff feels like family and they care if your food is cooked right. Just cant say enough. You know its good when a party of about 40 Indian folks comes in for what looks like a nice family gathering.

Great Indian food with a cozy little dining room. They have a nice buffet and menu options. I usually order carry-out. More than once they included something a little extra with my order like a side dish. They also have frequent buyer cards that offer a free meal after youve ordered 7 meals.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. They had so many hair in the food, and then I was not even reimbursed. Not that it would have made any difference, I just requested them not to give the same food to anyone else. I can compromise on taste, but not really on cleanliness.

My favorite place! The food is always excellent, and the staff is always friendly. My wife and I used to have our Friday night dates here weekly; sadly or schedule doesnt allow us to do this any more, but we make sure to chime here any chance we get. I highly recommend it!

Nice place for Buffet Lunch. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Good tasty food. Liked the Bread pudding, Samosa and aloo tiki. Non veg selection is good and tasty. Would suggest improvement in goat curry as it was bit oily and rice pudding could be better.

This could be the best Indian joint in town. They rotate their offerings often and usually have a daily special on the buffet They also have a dinner buffet during the week! The staff are also very friendly, which is sometimes uncommon for indian restaurants.

My new favorite Indian buffet! Much more options and flavors than other Indian buffets that Ive tried. Their Chicken Tikka is the best and my personal favorite is their mango dish.

Love this place. Have eaten Indian food all around Cincinnati for 20years and this is one of my all time favorites. The flavor and variety of dishes offered is very good.
