So, the reasoning behind the one star is your lack of managerial skills. We have eaten at the new location several times since its opening. Your generic staff is great. The servers, cooks, waitresses are all great! Today however I had a serious situation with a manager that could have been entirely avoided if he had employed some of his training. My wife and I went to eat and while getting drinks realized that the Hi-C was out. I dont drink soda so we asked if they had any passion fruit or orange juice. Both were a no. I asked to speak to a manager. Upon arrival, I explained the situation and the manager asked me "What do you want me to do about it". Now, we were just getting off work as landscapers and we were not looking our Sunday best, but I didnt think that was supposed to determine my service level. I did give him a rapid "get the $%#& out of my face with that". Granted, I could have responded a little calmer, but I was so shocked that a restaurant manager went to that level over a beverage. The manager responded that this was "His House" and we needed to get out. At that point he refunded our money and we left. I can only imagine how this manager treats his employees if this is how he speaks to customers in off-rush hours regarding drinks!

This is the newest GC built recently in the Target parking lot. It is not as "homey" as older versions and the tables are crammed in very tight. We went to get our yearly "birthday buffet" and the food was good, not great. There was a LOT of it...as there always is at GC, but the quality is slipping. The yeast rolls were tasty and the pot roast was very good. My big issue with this particular GC was the "herd mentality" of the place. The other ones I go to are less like a feeding trough and more like a church supper. Finally, and most importantly...GC should wise up and include the drink in their buffet price. Charging over 13.00 pp on busy nights and weekends and then asking for another 2.00+ for a drink is just WRONG. I can see if this was a fancy place...but the food quality and self-service does not warrant that kind of charge. Free is the only reason that we went in the past and even that is not enough now. We are done feeding at the GC trough. There are plenty of other good buffets in the area that dont price gouge...Country Buffet and Sweet Tomatoes among them.

Visited this restaurant today. Beautiful new building, and the food was great. However, the service was terrible. Our server, Kevin, didnt serve our water until we were nearly done with our first plate, and then he spilled as much on the table as he got in the glasses and didnt even bother to wipe it up. He never removed our dirty plates, forcing us to move them to a nearby table that never got cleaned during our entire stay. Eating surrounded by tables full of dirty plates made good food unappetizing.

This was a really good experience, from beginning to end. We got there and the hostess was really friendly, the young woman who was making the omelets was really great, she made me a terrific omelet and provided really good service and conversation. Our waitress was really attentive and professional. In general, the staff is friendly and attentive to our needs. Food was really good, and great prices.

It was packed, but you could expect that on a Saturday night. Still they kept the fresh food coming. The prices arent as reasonable as I would like considering that I only come for the salad. But overall my experience was great and Bobbie our server was as well!

The food was delicious, especially the fried fish and bourbon chicken. After our waitress changed our weak Sprite, it was a lot more enjoyable. Noticed that the buffet was clean and food aplenty, also! Lovely meal...........will definitely come back!

This is by far the best Golden Corral I have gone to! It is brand spanking new our waiter Val was very attentive and she took very good care of us. The food selection was amazing. Go! You will not be disappointed.
