I had dinner at Fortune Noodles tonight. The food at this Chinese restaurant is very authentic, but the service here needs to be improved. I would expect the servers to check with the tables more often. I also got grape fruit tea which is $3.75 for only a small cup and asked for a refill after I was done with my first cup. However, when I saw the bill I realized that I was charged for twice. I wasnt expecting that, so I showed the bill to the server, and clearly he didnt understand what "refill" means. Anyways, the food is good but the servers were having some trouble with understanding English. Be sure to ask if you can get a free refill before ordering a drink.

The food is amazing and authentic, instead of your typical take-out joint. I highly recommend the pan fried pork noodles. They hand make the noodles in the traditional way (complete with slamming on the counter) right behind a window for you to watch. The noodles are delicious and I cant stop eating. Which is bad because the portions are huge so you can really regret finishing your meal (but in a good way). If you arent a noodles fan or cant have gluten, they also have fried rice entrees. And if youre that picky eater who isnt adventurous, they have staples like Sesame Chicken and General Tso. Oh and they use plastic chopsticks which is great!

This is without question the most authentic noodle house in Cincinnati. I had both the dumplings and pork pan fried noodles and they were spectacular. The restaurant is clean and well kept, there is a window that looks in on the chefs stretching and forming the noodles. I have been looking for an authentic Chinese noddle house in Cincy for years and finally found the place! A MUST TRY

The taste was OK, but the service is bad, while understanding the waitress accent is other major constraint. We ordered a dish and expected it to be served hot, but on contrary we received it cold. However, we asked to change the dish, but again the waitress did not understand what we asked for and brought another dish thereby charging for both. I am never gonna visit again.

If you are craving noodles this is a great choice. The hand-pulled noodles are awesome, theyre made in house daily making them super fresh. I have had both the chopped beef noodle in soup and without soup. Both are great and are my go to each time I visit. Also got the pan fried dumplings last time. The meat was super moist and the fat made a sort of soup on the inside.

worst bumble tea Stir fried noodles were not stir fried and were prepared in a rush, I had to chew the supposedly boneless chicken. They probably scraped it off the bones themselves and did a terrible job at it. Worst customer service, when we politely asked for a different drink, waiter sent owner to the table and all she said that this is how it is supposed to taste

Got delivery through GrubHub. I questioned whether the $7 delivery fee was worth it, as Id never had this place before. Pricing was good, food arrived right on time, steaming hot. Hands down best Ive had, way better than some places youd pay twice as much for the same entree. Definitely worth the delivery fee, definitely would recommend to anyone.

If there is an authentic noodle house, this is it! Superb quality and varieties, plus you get a view of the chef working on cooking the noodles. Soup carries the flavors of authentic ingredients rather than msg. U want to try the door on Calhorn as their main entrance may be a little inconspicuous :)

Amazing food! I love the soup noodles. I did not think I could have authentic made-to-go Chinese noodle outside of Chicago in the Midwest. It definitely hit the spot. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly kind and good. Its my favorite restaurant in Cincinnati.

This place is amazing for authentic Chinese food! I tried the "build your own stir fry" option and would highly recommend it! The hand pulled noodles are fantastic, whether you get them in a soup or just pan fried. Everything I have tried here deserves 5 stars.

Great food and service! Unlike most Chinese restaurants, Fortune Noodles has many traditional Chinese dishes. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very helpful with her suggestions since this was our first time there.

Some of the best authentic chinese cuisine available in this area. "Home cooking" in the asian sense. A rare find and treat for American taste buds. Go with a sense of adventure and enjoy the moment. Totally worth the hassle of parking...

As someone who lived in China and quickly became a hand-pulled noodle enthusiast, to say this place provides a great product is an understatement. It’s the only restaurant I’ve found offering authentic hand-pulled noodles.

The date we went is unlucky, the main chief was sick, and the second chief cannot make all dishes we really like to have. In the end we just have noodles, simple and certainly not bad.

They have the best noodles I have ever had, and I regularly crave them. There is a nice little dining room, but you can also call ahead for some incredibly fast carry out.

Amazing flavorful dishes. The staff was helpful with explaining the menu and offering recommendations. I recommend the eggplant garlic dish or braised beef with potatoes.
