Horrible, horrible, horrible horrible, horrible, My friend and I frequent the Sakuras in Fairlawn quite a lot and expected this one to be of the same high quality. Not even close . How they can share the same name is beyond us . We started with a order of calamari. It was way over cooked, rubbery and had an aftertaste of dirty burnt oil. The sushi rolls we each ordered were just as bad, the rice was soggy The Tempura shrimp in the roll had the same burnt taste. The "Chef sauce" on the roll was to dominant and sweet and when combined with the flavor of the tempura shrimp it was very off putting. Weve eaten at most of the sushi places between Akron and Cleveland, This would definitely rank as the second worst place weve eaten at. (Yellow tail is currently #1 and should be avoided at all cost ) nothing about the meal was satisfying and we both left disappointed. Maybe they were just having an off night .but unfortunately, It was so bad that we have no desire whatsoever to ever return to find out . As for the service I have no complaints, everyone was friendly and our server was great.

Absolutely amazing. Service is excellent and dont be misled by the subway next door, this is a very nice sit down restaurant. Though, I must add that the hibachi option is not done in front of you, I believe this makes it a little cheaper which is nice. The sushi is excellent. As someone who has spent time in asia and in hawaii and washington, the sushi is as good as it gets in the midwest. If youre with someone who is skeptical order the "Rock N Roll," or the "Alligator roll." They are fried and absolutely amazing. Tuesday and Thursday are half price sushi and soup and salad, but please dont be cheap and try to combine with the groupon ad. They would make no money, and trust me you want this place to stay in business. Its the best taste of japanese culture in the area!

To start off positively the food here was really good! From there the experience went downhill. Our waitress was very spacey. She didnt understand what my wife meant by "White Zinfandel" and had to have it pointed out to her in the menu. Then when she brought our drinks out she took them to the wrong table. Our biggest disappointment with Sakura however was the atmosphere. Being from out of town I didnt quite know what to expect from this restaurant. However, I assumed that it would be like most Hibachi establishments with a chef at a grill that you sit around and have an experience! This is not that type of Hibachi restaurant. This is like any other restaurant where you sit in a booth and are served. The food was really excellent but the experience was meh.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience tonight. They call it "Half of Sushi" night and really the rolls were $1 or $2 off, or nothing off many. I did not realize that they were even advertising it as "half off sushi" until the check came and I tried to pay with my groupon. I was there with my son and my sister and her husband were eating with us. They also had a groupon. Our checks were of course separate. They told us first that we could not use two groupons at the same table, which apparently didnt matter because I couldnt use my groupon since my sushi was supposedly half-off (NOT!) I would call this false advertising and deceitful!

My boyfriend and I frequent this place since we first discovered it back in September. They offer half-priced sushi tues/thurs. They also have phenomenal lunch deals until 3 p.m. Waitstaff is very friendly and provide great service. Their sushi and rolls are tasty, and so are the entrees. They have a fair menu of sake, wine, and plum wine. I would highly recommend trying a Katie & Alex appetizer and their mochi (they make it like a sundae). I recommend Sakura to everyone I know! Worth your time and money!

The hostess and server were great and on top of everything. Its a pet peeve of mine to be stuck with an empty plate and no check, I did not have to worry about that at all here. The food itself was great. I had a spicy crab roll, spicy yellowtail roll, and a spider roll. This is one of the better places to get sushi that I have been to. The price was about what I would expect out of a decent sushi place. Im glad I picked this place over the other options in the area.

Despite the outside look of it and its not so Fancy neighbor, Sakura is beautiful inside. The sushi was of great quality! My husband and I just moved to canton from Miami Fl and this place can hang up there with some of the best in Miami. We visited on a Tuesday not aware of their half off menu so it was a pleasant surprise. Also the service was great! Definitely recommend it!

Me and my husband love this place!! The service is incredible, and the food is delicious! Best sushi in this area by far! The staff makes you feel welcome unlike Wasabi and A1, whos staff are somewhat snooty and unwelcoming. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for great food and great service - this is your go to sushi / hibachi!

This little place is connected to a Subway, but both businesses have their own entrance, exit, and are separated by a wall. Atmosphere was very pleasant, making it an ideal place for a night out or a date night. Service was great, the waitress was very attentive for whenever we needed something. The food was great and served as ordered.

The food is always amazing, I typically get The chicken yaki udon for dinner or one of the bento boxes for lunch. Im still branching out food wise, but the California Roll is a staple. The banana tempura is a great choice for something sweet and savory. The staff is pleasant and arent over bearing. The prices are just right, as well.

The place is next to a Subway restaurant, but its like a world away. A wonderful cozy place, that is modern and also traditional. The sushi is great and moderately priced. The hibachi dinners do more than just fill you up. The staff is attentive, but dont go overboard. Great food, great prices , great atmosphere!

Been here a few times. Had mostly good experiences. Last trip resulted in my wife and I both getting food poisoning and being sick for the entire following day. It seemed suspicious that the sushi was brought out at room temp, but we ate it anyway. Big mistake. Be careful of "half price sushi" days.

The most fresh and delicious sushi in Canton. Plus, the presentation is beautiful. They have multiple no rice rolls which are amazing! The staff is extremely polite and great service. The atmosphere is nice too! I would consider myself a sushi snob and this exceeds my expectations.

Sushi was fresh and amazing, the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. The restaurant was clean and surprisingly very nice, it is attached to a Subway restaurant.. Prices were affordable, they have half price sushi on Tuesday and Thursday. I will be returning.

I love Sakura! Its great food very nice restaurant and great service! I havent been to many other hibachi restaurants in the area but this is my first pick! I hear that Wasabi may be good off the Strip so I may try them next but Im hooked on Sakura.
