The food was miserable and the service was worse. Everything in my Udon was over cooked. Not a little over cooked, either. Extremely overcooked. The noodles were mush. The chicken, despite sitting in flavorless broth, was completely dry. Even the cuddle fish was dry. I dont know how you dry out cuddle fish, but they did. Except for the green peppers, which were still raw. Green peppers dont belong in Udon to begin with, let alone uncooked salad quality green peppers. The shrimp was only partially defined. The scallops were rubber. This was, by far, the worst bowl of Udon Ive ever had. I fear that I am insulting Udon everywhere just by calling this abomination by the same name. Then there was the "gyoza". They were slimy. Im not sure I can accurately describe just how mushy and slimy they were. There was no manager to be found. And, the server was preoccupied with her social life behind the bar instead of asking her table why they were barely touching the food she brought out. Not to mention the fact that when asked what was in the Vegetable Udon, she responded rather sharply that it had vegetables in it. Then, when prodded further was unable to list the actual vegetables found in it. To say that we will never be eating here again would be an understatement.

Ive been there several times with bad experiences, however I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but last night took the cake. We had a party of about 15-20 that went for my sisters birthday. First they would not let us sit because we were still waiting on one or two of our members of our party to arrive. At that point we just wanted to sit because they already had our table reserved (reservations were made a week prior) and the lobby was slammed. Finally we were sat and later ordered bar drinks. Everyones drinks were delivered but I waited 45 minutes for mine. I asked the waitress for it twice and then another waitress as well as the boy who brought us boxes. She finally brought it and apologized and said there would be no charge. When the bill arrived the drink was still on there. I talked to the owner and she said they refused to remove alcoholic beverages and I explain what the waitress had said. The owner retrieved the waitress and the waitress pretty much called me a liar to her owner. Finally a head waitress agreed to take it off for me. But I mean are you seriously going to upset a large party over one drink? That was the companys fault anyways? Horrible way to run a business. Will never return. Not to mention I ended up being sick when I got home. Will NEVER return.

I come the restaurant often as Ive never had an issue with the food. However, I called in and placed a to go order on 5/27/17 at 10pm. I was told the order would be ready in 20 mins. Once I got there, the order was ready, but still missing somethings. Once I got home and began to eat the food, my steak was overcooked and my wifes chicken was undercooked. The food was also very bland and had no flavor. I was very disappointed as I was sure that the food would taste just like it does when I eat in the restaurant. I could not call back as they were already closed by the time I got home. I saved all the food and contacted the manager as she was very rude by over talking me and telling me that all to go orders are final and that theres nothing shes gonna do. I spent over $55.00 for to go food that was not worth it! I do plan on contacting the health and food inspectors about the undercooked chicken and will also post my reviews. The way it looks currently, I will not be returning to his place!

Been going to Wasabi for years and it used to be the BEST place in Jax to eat Sushi and everything was always fresh, very decent portions, and just superb every single time. HOWEVER, not until today. They must of changed management or owner but they NO LONGER serve the Authentic Hot Japanese Green tea, worse yet, the current manager there FULLY denies they ever had Hot Japanese Green Tea. Now they have cheap Chinese Green Tea, which tastes awful, just tastes like hot water with food coloring. Then to add insult to injury, they charged for the tea I specifically told to return. Beyond that, their Sushi also has changed, they are smaller, tasted bland, smaller portions and still the same price. The serves was just as bad, kept bring wrong orders to the table, forgot the ginger and wasabi, forgot the lemon in the water, and the waiter only ever showed up once in the beginning and once in the end to collect check. You have definitely lost a long time customer today......

I come into this restaurant every so often for the great service and food. The food was delicious but the service was horrible. There was no table service throughout our meal and we had to be sitting there at least 25 minutes before our chef showed up. I have no problems with the Chef because he did it right but there was no notification of why we were sitting there for that long. One of the busboys accidentally back splashed some of the water into my area and the chef noticed. He told the busboy and everything was cool but as I said, there was no table service when I wanted a refill on my Sweet Tea. I will come back but I definitely do not want the same server!

Many people dont know this but this is a chain from Tenessee. How can a sushi restaurant from Tenessee know what good sushi is. Their roles are very boring with very low quality fish. Every roll was extremely fishy tasting and the color was very questionable. Their tuna was very light red almost a koolaid color. Tuna should have a very dark red/puple color. This is indicative of using very low grade fish. I wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt even tuna but another fish dyed red. The same for their salmon as well. It was too orange. My friends warned me about going here but we had to check it out ourselves. Bottom line, if you like sushi dont go here.

Me and my husband went here for our anniversary, when we orreder our for my husband had said no onions because he is allergic to them. When the cook came up to us my husband had said no onions please because he is allergic. Well my husband found an onion in his rice and asked to speek to the manager and the manager wanted to argue with us and say that my husband didnt tell the waiter that when we did and she continued to argue and try and make it like we are lieing living and the manager didnt pay attention to the waiter when she came back to the table and said she is sorry that she didnt hear us say no onions because he is allergic to it.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, Ive been in allot of sushi places and this is the worst experience of my life, is actually very disappointing how the manager treats you with disrespect, I asked for a Pina Colada, they took allot to bring it also the food and when it finally got to the table the drink was watery and IT DID NOT TASTE GOOD,I asked the manager to change it and she was a real B***, she sayed that the drinks where not refundable and I had to drink that watery drink, theres allot of other good sushi places like Sushi House, Open Sushi, Sushi X and Fuji Sushi, this is the first time that I write a review but this really bothered me. Thank you
