I took note of the previous reviews when making a reservation at this restaurant. I like to think that they really are honest. Perhaps the person who was so enthralled really DID have a wonderful experience. Ill never know. But I will likely never go to Cazadores Mexican Restaurant again. In Blue Ash or ANYWHERE. We had been to this restaurant once before. It was in the summer of 2011, I believe. Any "problems" we had I sort of excused because we were in a large group. And I note that there were a lot of diners that last time. Last night I called ahead for seating of 14. We ended up being 16. It was a struggle to get an extra table added to the end of ours, even though there were almost no other diners, and no one was using any of the tables or space we needed. When the table was finally pulled over, we had to ask the server for utensils and chips/salsa. It seemed an imposition to expect these. The waiter was so inattentive, that finally, someone seated several away from the end guests asked for chips and salsa for those on the end, and it was brought. The waiter paid no attention to beverage levels and had to be asked more than once for refills. Our orders were a mess. No sense of order - no numbering or identification - so that when they were delivered, and we didnt know specifically which "number" wed ordered, there was trouble sorting this out. Our server did NOT interact with us as guests. Instead, we seem to have been bothering him. Several times we needed to ask a food delivery person or another server going by for something. There seems to be a game of playing "I dont understand your English," when these guys have obviously been around for a long time and appear to speak perfect English when it is time to ask for the money. The chips have no flavor. There appeared to be no mild salsa available, since none was brought when requested. The food was hot - or at least the plates were (from sitting in the window waiting to be delivered) so most came out at the same time. Portions were so-so. Ordered "chicken fingers" for my granddaughter from one of the food deliverers. What was delivered was over-cooked seasoned french fries and 3 of those "fused" fake chicken pieces. Gross. The waiter had probably worse handwriting than a doctors as seen on a prescription. When we got our bills we couldnt easily make out what we were being charged for...nor what we were to pay! My bill had my nieces food on it, so we decided to just each pay our portion of the bill. But one discrepancy mid-table where the order wasnt totaled properly had me question my own total. The waiter was not happy about our questions, was not gracious or helpful and again, we were a "bother" to him. I left this waiter a tip, even though he certainly did not deserve it. Judging by the lack of patrons and open seating throughout on a Friday evening, this place wont last long, although I assume because of its location, it likely does get a pretty good lunch crowd. After the meal was ended my cousin mentioned to me the reason why she had been slow to agree to coming to dinner at Cazadores: the last time they had a group gathering there, 5 of the party became sick with food poisoning! I asked her why she didnt say something sooner. I sure hope everyone in our party from last night is ok!

My wife and I visited Cazadores-Blue Ash on friday. It took awhile to find an open parking spot - always a good sign, right? It actually took around 10 - 15 minutes before we got a parking spot. Once we walked in, things happened quickly. Within moments we were seated, in a nice, sunny spot, which was great on that cold day. Inside of 2 - 3 minutes, four different people, including the owner of the restaurant, Cesar Ornelas, waited on us, asking whether there was anything that we needed, or whether they could help us in any way! That does NOT happen at any other restaurant Ive been to. Kudos for them. Our waitress was a lovely, young lady, with a great attitude and accent, and a great smile. She was very pleasant in every way, and extremely attentive. The food was top-rate, as was the service. The facility was sparkling clean. There were wide-screen TVs all over the place, since they have special deals on game days! I say, get your friends over there on game days, youll have a blast! The last thing Id like to say is that the place was PACKED! The conversations were cheerful and flowing all around us. I highly recommend Cazadores in Blue Ash, especially in the evenings and on weekends! Get over there!

I am sorry to read that others did not enjoy their experience at Cazadores in Blue Ash. My wife and I dine there on occasion and always have had good experiences. The staff is friendly, the beer is cold and the food is delicious. We have always had prompt service to match whether we were in a hurry or not. If you are there for dinner and dont want a large meal, order off the lunch menu. The portions work well if you want a little bit lighter meal. If you like chips, salsa and guacamole, make sure to try their guac. You can either get it made up tableside in a pretty good size portion, or you can ask for a smaller portion from the kitchen. I will say I have never had a group larger than 4, but Id be willing to give them a try. We recommend this restaurant.

Thought we would try this mexican restaurant instead of our favorite EL RANCHO GRANDE. This was the biggest mistake of the night.. Service was terrible from the time we walked in the door. The food looked great but we didnt stick around to find out. After we were seated we were promptly served chips and water. This was the end of the waiter he never returned to take our order. We were able to finish our chips and water while several other servers walked right past us. After sitting there with no service roughly 20min. we decided to leave. Will never be back. Ended up going to the Chipotle next door

Just had lunch with my office, a party of eleven. Walked in around 11am and we were seated immediately. Service was prompt. Drink orders were taken and returned before we even realized any time had passed. Food arrived via a team of servers. By all accounts everyone enjoyed what was ordered. Thank-you Cazedores I enjoyed all aspects of my meal.

The food was amazing but the service was horrible, we were seated and promptly given chips and salsa. We waited until the table behind us, who came in after us and were of mexican decent, were sat and served before our drink order was taken. Then the server never once checked on us, he didnt come back until we were done eating.
