My husband and I walked into the restaurant at 10:30 lastnight, May 27th. The restaurant looked closed as the staff was cleaning, chairs pulled away from the bar, and no host at the hostess stand. We walked up to the bar. The lady at the bar who was sweeping, looked surprised that we walked up. She did not welcome us. We asked if they were open because the website stated Catina closes at 11pm. She said yes with hesitation. We pulled up 2 chairs and said we didnt want to bother just wanted 2 drinks and queso when actually we wanted dinner but felt like we was an inconvenience. My husband stated "you all must be tired....you are cleaning very early." Bar person replied "yes, we have been busy all day". We ordered queso. After the bar person left we decided to leave. As we were leaving the bar person asked if we wanted the queso? I replied "we have decided to eat dinner somewhere else. We do not want to inconvenience you all". She did not respond nor tried to get us to stay. We walked over to Kona Grill where they were happy to take our money. I have never experienced such and will be calling corporate about this situation. The employees care more about closing and getting out at 11 than waiting on customers. We came in at 10:30 so I am still trying to comprehend why this happened and how the manager on duty could allow this to happen.

The Mojito was excellant. When we were seated the table was wobbly and the salt was clumped in the shaker...As you can tell Im big on the little things. I didnt like their salsa, it lacked flavor and freshness. The $10 quac was average at best, lacked salt and acid. The ahi tacos were good both with and without the quac and pickeled onions since they can mask a bad flavor. The chicken chimi was poor. We tried it with both sauces. The queso tasted as if it was from a bag or can. The experience was average at best. I posted a review on open table where we made the reservation and the restaurant said we no showed...I found that interesting because in fact I wish I had. Will not go again. Any neighborhood Americanized Mexican food is better and cheaper than this place.

The food is overpriced and NOT prepared fresh! Queso cheese is melted Velvetta - I am not kidding! We confirmed this with the waitress and asked that she remove it from our order price. The chicken flautas are frozen deep fried taquitos that are chopped in half. My friend ordered chicken fajitas - the chicken looked like a pre-cooked breast with grilled marks that was sliced....zero flavor. The roasted bell peppers on top were the jarred type anyone can purchase at Kroger! Very disappointed! The only tasty thing was the house margarita. Shame on the owner/chef of this new restaurant in Liberty Township. Will not go back

After being referred to them by the AC Marriott, I was VERY pleasantly surprised to have one of the best experiences that I have had in a long time. From the initial greeting of Joe the General Manager to the outstanding service from Nathan to the wonderful taste of the meal itself, my ONLY regret is that I was not in town longer to have a return visit to this for another meal. It truly was more of an experience of outstanding value and professionalism than just a meal - well done!

We dined at the Liberty Center location on 7/28/17. We requested Marlon for our server because we had his EXCELLENT service at his previous job. Marlon was exceptional as usual, but also the food was outstanding; not your typical mediocre Mexican food. And my new favorite Margarita is your Pineapple Infused! We will definitely return for Marlons excellent service and outstanding good!

Ordered take out for the Dr office and it was horrible... everything was under cooked, spicy as all get out, not even worth paying for a meal cause they skimped you on food. Would not recommend to anyone

This place has nice outdoor seating, delicious food, and a great drink menu. The Puerto Vallarta plate really hit the spot. Our server, Marlon, was the best. Im already looking forward to our next visit.

This our third time here. The food is delicious. Great happy hour. However with each time our service has been increasingly bad. Bartenders need to be more attentive to the customer.

Some of the best mexican food in town. Really authentic flavors and great service. Try the avocado enchilladas or the chicken burrito. Both great choices!

Great Mexican food and drink specials. While the prices are a little higher, the view and proximity to the liberty center are fantastic.

They make fresh guacamole which was pretty great. Beyond that, fairly average Mexican restaurant offerings.

Margherita in the lap and to top it off an unidentifiable insect in my VeraCruz dish. Not what I expected.
