Ive eaten at this restaurant twice this week, and both times the food was great. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired. On my first visit for lunch, our waitress was very gruff. She could definitely use a few lessons in public relations. She literally grumbled and was very short with her tone. I could understand that if we had been rude, but we were actually really friendly with her. Kind of disappointing. The food was excellent, though, and actually overcame the service enough for me to want to return. The second time we went for dinner, and we were told to seat ourselves. There was no silverware at our table, and we sat for more than 7 minutes before we finally flagged down a waiter and let him know we were ready to order (no drink orders or anything had been taken). I could actually understand this if they were busy, but only about a third of the tables, if that, were occupied. It took a few more minutes before a waitress came and took our order. It was another five minutes before we got our drinks and silverware. But after that, the service was pretty decent. Maybe they were just having an off night. Again, the food was excellent. The philly cheesesteak sandwich is great, especially for a diner-type establishment. Their onion rings are homemade and are delicious (take some Tums afterward). Breakfast food is served all day (except the hash browns, which are only available in the morning, and sometimes a few left over for lunch). The french toast is very good, and if you eat breakfast food, ask for the hash browns. Theyre a home-style fried hash brown, actual potato chunks that are browned with crispy sides. My mother-in-law had the grouper, and it was very good as well. This place is home-styled comfort food at its best and most casual. And, thank God, they went totally smoke-free a couple years back, so you can dine without breathing in carcinogens.

I really do hate giving bad reviews.. but I have to be honest with this one. I stayed at the Holiday Inn next door. Instead of traveling out, I decided to place an order for delivery to this business. A somewhat rude cashier picked up the phone, asked me for my order and first name, and did not inform me of the total, nor did she ask for my room number.. "Do you need my room number?" "Sure.." she says. The food arrived in a timely fashion, and was delivered by a properly dressed gentleman who was well groomed and humble. I felt a little better at that point. Things quickly went downhill. The spaghetti was not worth the money at all. The pasta was undercooked, and I got charged an additional $2.99 for (3) one inch meatballs.. This is where I almost vomited. The mozzarella sticks were cooked perfectly, but were SPOILED ROTTEN. Curdled string cheese was not what I imagined was inside the fried batter. It was terrifyingly disgusting.. The cheese inside was literally green. The salad was literally the only thing I ate. I got charged almost $20 for food that may give me food poisoning. After reading excellent reviews about this diner, I was impressed. Although, after eating the food, I was highly disappointed. I will never order from this establishment again.

The decor is plain . Some of the dishes are spicy. The menu is big with a lot to choose from. And dishes not expensive. The hostess and waitress will tell female guests. Not want to wait on anymore, talk back rude, give a bigger piece of dessert to the males than the females, rush to get rid of, run away and not want to wait on the females, walk away in the middle of the meal and not come back, walk away while females are talking to female give food and ask if want any more food and drink, walk away from waiting on females to gossip with co-workers, and complain not a tip. We got steak that was tough. Waitress complains and gets angry not a tip. Management hates the complaints. The hostess/cashier/management will wait on a female and male at the same time. And ignore the female customer while wait on .

This restaurant has a nice selection of really good food. The prices of the specials are reasonable, but the other food is a little steep. Our waitress was friendly. I would, however, suggest to her that she not be insistent of when patrons pay the bill and I would recommend that she not stand over them and watch them write in the tip. They have real butter at room temperature. It spreads well and melts like it should. I recommend this restaurant.

This is a great place to go and get consistently good/service. Its a family owned restaurant. Friendly diner atmosphere an very affordable. They have everything from sandwiches/wraps to all day breakfast (great omelets and pancakes are amazing!) pasta, and vegetable plates. I come here several times a week. I would recommend it to anyone, seriously! Great place. Great food. Period.

Good breakfast just wish they had some more combo type plates for breakfast. The only one has plenty of food but, cant substitute. The lunch and dinner menu had a lot of choices and the staff was very friendly and always keep my coffee cup full. I will be back for breakfast and to try their lunch and dinner choices. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food, but it takes FOREVER to get food. Been there several times when its not busy at all (wait staff just standing and chatting) and it will still take 25-30 mins to make a few eggs and bacon... hrm.
