For tldrs, awesome food . Pathetic service and hospitality. Consider taking a to-go and save yourself getting pissed. For detailed review; Firstly, I would like to start on a good note. The food was awesome - we were a group of 7 people who visited this restaurant and all of us loved the food. Excellent food. Now, to start off. Foods awesome. So whens the next visit? Probably , never. Definitely not in this month for sure. Reason? Hospitality ! The waiter who welcomed us at the very start was so sadistic that we almost felt to leave the restaurant at that very moment. He then started to what we would like to eat - I mentioned THALI and woah, he expected me to name our dish of interest without even presenting us with a menu card (p.s. keep in mind that we are still waiting for the water to come #hospitalityfail) Post the food being served, the waiters (all of them) disappeared and all of us were left wandering around for the water to be refilled (Spicy awesome food side-effects). Meanwhile, there is the same waiter again catering to another bunch of people while not even bothering to cater to us. That being said, I (personally) found the waiters behavior pathetic and it crossed limits when in the middle of our food, he presented us with a check and asked us to pay it right away since he had to close the cash counter - didnt make any sense doing this. Moreover, the bill was a mere piece of paper and clearly the waiter was hurrying us up to give the order so much that I (nor the others) noticed that there is an imposed 18% by-default tip for the pathetic service that they give that has been mentioned in the menu. A great example of awesome food but pathetic hospitality - toGOs the way out, I hope.

Excellent food. Very tasty and wasnt oily at all (The only reason why Im giving them 3 stars) Decent at best, ambiance. Very POOR waiting service. Our waiter was very arrogant; he seemed to be imposing his own ideas on us and was rude while speaking. He asked us to pay the Cheque as soon as he handed it over to us, which was very irritating. It seems this particular waiter has a knack of being rude towards other Indians. TIPPING CUSTOM: I dont WANT to tip you for such bad service, but you guys forced us to pay the tip under 18% service charge and claiming its written on the menu. A tip is a reaction to your service, not an obligation of your customer. Note: the only reason we accepted the tip amount was because the food was simply superb. I hate to poorly review this restaurant, but it seems I have no choice. I would love to come here again provided your services improve.

The buffet food is decent but the staff service is very bad (except for the owners). The owners are good about service but are often busy in the back - the other staff is hopeless and have to be asked about 2-3 times before you get something. Naan has to often be asked for even though it is supposed to be part of the buffet. My friends and I used to like this places buffet but now prefer Thali of India as the service is much better there. I still go myself for quick eats as it is right next to my house but find myself more and more disappointed with it. Tandoor used to have the selling point that it kept its buffet spicier but nowadays it has become blander than Thalis and so we no longer tolerate the slow service especially with the naan. It really has to either hire better or more staff - the owners themselves are good but the staff is weak.

Okay! I normaly I dial in to 1 place and stick there. I was ( and I am) a huge fan of Thali of India. One of my girl friends insisted me to try this place and WOW!!! It was asewsome. We came there for tuesday dinner buffet, The place has much energy and pleasant. The food was excellent. Sunday me and my husband showed up at the buffet. We really enjoyed the food and it was packed. I heard alot about this place from alot of my friends. I found more on facebook too. Overall we had great experience. Interior is not bad, it is clean and maintained. Service is very good! I would say they are trying. I wont give 5 stars but again they are trying. Seems like they need more professional servers. My friends told me that a it is a family run business . Hey great food and good service I am in!!!

I went there with my boyfriend the other night and we split a meal because we always have leftovers and werent sure how long they would have to sit in the car because we had other plans. At first I was worried that we would have poor service because of this (Which has happened at other restaurants) but the service was still great! The Chicken Makhani is just fantastic! Not only is the taste amazing but also the spicing too. I have had both there medium and mild versions of the dish and although the heat was different the taste was the same and spot on to the label. Simply delicious! We left a full-sized tip and I cant wait to go back... and next trip we are ordering big for leftovers... its worth it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit. We wanted to try a little of many things so we got the $9.99 buffet. Lots to choose from and try. Vegetarian dishes, chicken and beef dishes, salad bar, and even a dessert bar. Their specially brewed chai tea with herbs is just fantastic and comes with the meal. Several types of breads. We all enjoyed it. Will go back again. Waiter was very good and kept water glasses filled. Most items were toned down for American palates, but a couple got me a little. Next time well order off the menu , just wanted an assortment first time there. No lamb or goat on the buffet, so next time well order those.

This is one of my favorite resturants to go to. Ive been enjoying the food for years, its always delicious and full of flavor! My favorite dish is the chicken makhani (there is a vegetarian version of this). The restaurant is very clean with beautiful decorations, and the staff are lovely. I think the reason why people complain about having to wait is because the resturant seems to be family owned and therefore low in staff, so you have to realize that its probably hard for them to literally do everything.

Absolutely the worst experience I had. I told the hostess one thing and something else came out of the kitchen. I ate bread while the sabzi was being prepared again. The paneer tikka masala was mediocre at best. You could taste the tomato ketchup ... That bad! Ordered a custard for dessert and there were lumps in it. Sent it back .... It was a lot of $ I paid for mediocre food! Go to Raj Mahal down the street instead... Youll do your taste buds a big favor :)

Ive only had the buffet, but... Food is fair at best, dishes are either over spiced or lacking in flavor, some menu items are indistinguishable from the burnt remains in the pan. There was a 10 minute wait on the rice. Dirty tablecloths, paper placemats, but hey the silverware was clean at least! Honestly if your looking for a bartender then go for it, but if you want real quality/ quality ingreedeants you can do far better with other places.
