An utter and complete failure. I called at a little after 9:00pm on a Saturday night and placed my order for delivery. Im told by the guy on the phone (who was apparently so new he couldnt calculate the total for my order) that delivery would be between 30 and 45 minutes. Fast forward to just a few minutes after 10pm. I dont have my pizza and havent received a call giving me any kind of update. I decide to call them to check how things are going. I get their voicemail because its after 10 and theyre closed. THEY TOOK MY ORDER AND BLEW ME OFF?!? Luckily I didnt pay by card over the phone. Half an hour later, THE DRIVER SHOWS UP. I dont blame him for the situation (its not HIS fault) and go ahead and make the transaction. I tear into the pizza box only to find a pizza that could only be described as slightly above room temperature. It is an absolute mystery how Pizza Shack remains in business. Mind-blowingly bad service with mediocre (at best) food.

Visiting family in Oak Island and ordered from here the last night. Quality pizza! Fresh ingredients, good sauce, cheese was great. The crust is thin and crispy. You may or may not like that, but we did. We had all cheese for the kids, Roman combination, and an all meat pizza. All three were very good. Family who had eaten other places said theyd come back here. Love to support a small family-owned business, too.

Small place, limited eat in area, but wonderful service and pizza! This place is one of those places that you will tell your friends about. It doesnt look like much from the outside but the pizza is AMAZING! The service is great also! Some ingredients are freshly grown, I think? Which is an added bonus when everything now-a-days is over processed and from a can.

This place is awesome! Theres a small dine-in area but amazing pizza! Ive been vacationing in Oak Island since I was a small child. As far back as I can remember we have ordered from Pizza Shack at least once each time. An absolute must if you want a yummy messy pizza loaded with cheese. I recomend this place to everyone I know that comes to Oak Island.

The best pizza ever. I ordered two 12" pizzas last Friday. I was surprised how reasonable the price was. The owner was really nice and helpful. I would highly recommend the Pizza Shack to everyone. When my kids and grand kids come to town, I know where well be getting our pizzas. Thank you so much Pizza Shack - we love you. Judy

Best pizza in oak island. Been getting pizza here since the early 90s, and look forward to it every year. For the reviews that say the crust has no taste, go back to eating Dominos. I prefer this over every major chain because of the crust. Fresh veggies too, the tomatoes grow out back!

Like someone else said, crust tasted like cheap frozen crust. Dijiorno is better. I didnt like it all but my kids did so I gave it 2 stars. Delivery guy was very polite and friendly, girl on the phone taking orders was rude and not helpful.

Does NOT accept credit cards! What? In a beach town? They have an ATM machine that was gonna charge us $3 for a $17 pie. Dry tasteless crust, tastes like DiGiornos. Did I say they do NOT accept credit cards. Will NOT come back!

Called in my order and it was ready when they said it would be. All my guys loved it for dinner and a midnight snack. Great mom and pop place to get pizza. The price was just as good for an excellent pizza.

Excellent pizza, perhaps the best on the island. I dont know way people criticize the crust, my wife and I find it delicious. Great $9.50 special pizzas. Our place to go on Oak Island for pizza.

Great service, cheap frozen pizza tasting crust. I mean....seriously. I wish I would have spent 1/2 the $$ for better tasting pizza from the grocery store. Very disappointed.
