I stopped by Char Grill when I saw a sign stating char burgers for $1.59 ea. I ordered five. When I went to pay the bill it totaled over $19 dollars or about 4 dollars each. I was told that was because I ordered 2 with slaw and 2 with cheese. I then demanded they remove the slaw and cheese that they said cost an additional 30 cents per. After they removed the slaw and cheese from the burgers the total came to about 10 dollars. I asked how can a dollar fifty nine cent burger cost 4 dollars each if the sign says $1.59. I was told due to tax the $1.59 burger actually cost 1.71 but if that was true why do they add an additional 7% sales tax? How can two pieces of cheese and two tea spoons of slaw cause my 5 burgers to almost double in cost? To top that my burgers were cold before I got to my car.

I have had 2 terrible experiences whenever Ive attempted to call in an order. Each time, the same lady answered and would proclaim very rudely that she couldnt hear me. The tone of her voice each time was extremely rude. Whenever she did hear me, her questions and comments were very unprofessional. I finally told her that she had lost a regular customer and that she needed to work on her customer service skill. The way she responded is that she could care less. Chargrill management really ought to seriously think about finding someone else to answer their phones as this woman isnt making a good name for the company.

Two times that I have ordered online, they have not had my order ready. They have posters all over the window saying that "you can now order online" but DONT, because they will not make your order! Both times same excuse "Computer might not have printed it" I work in the same shopping center so I normally just place the order for "ASAP" and walk down there after about 10 - 15 mins and both times same thing. I have to sit there and wait for my food even when I had placed the order 15 mins prior. Foods Great just dont order online because they will just ignore it!

Great location. Always good food, and theyre usually fairly quick with things. Wouldnt recommend the online ordering, as it only works sometimes. Check it out on Mondays, where they have cheap burgers and fries. Thats when I usually go. Two burgers and fries for about $6 fills me up with extra. Burgers are really good, best "fast food" type burger around. Fries are pretty good too, make sure to ask for ketchup and pepper if you want it, as they come with only a light dusting of salt.

This place has great, old-school burgers. The patties taste like theyre made with fresh beef like you would buy at the grocery store and make yourself, and the fries and hot dogs are good too. Ive heard people mention they have good chicken salad, but I havent tried that yet. When you show up, just grab a paper order slip and a pencil, check off your order, and place it in the slot.

Highly recommended!!! Worth every penny. Not even in the same category as other burger chains. Ignore all the cheapscapes talking about. overpriced. A 1/2 steak burger combo is less than $10 at all the locations Ive visited. And its big enough to save for later as another meal or snack. Oh yea dont forget the fried apple pie. YUM!

This is a small little burger and shale joint, thats been around for awhile. The burgers are pretty good and the service is fairly quick. They do all there ordering by paper card so when you arrive pick up one fill out your order and place it in the slot. This confuses a lot of newcomers the first time.

Overrated and overpriced to say the least. Double cheeseburger with small fries and a sweet tea for over $10?!?! For that money, Ill go to 5 guys and have a really good burger. Gimmick got me once. Never again. Would be a value at $5 or 6$.

Pretty pricey for a burger stand with outdoor seating...everything is alacarte and adds up fast. There is a small discount on Mondays... Strange ordering system that is from the Seventys ( pencils and check boxes ) Try it once...thats enough!

I asked for a hot dog with slaw. I didnt get the slaw. I was given what they wanted me to have. Hotdog was cold French fries cold. Hotdog did have a pretty good taste.. I went around 11:30am. For 8bucks I could have done a lot better.

Burned over 20 minutes of my lunch hour WAITING for a burger. When I finally received it, the patty as well as the bun were dry and tasteless, a huge disappointment. Really think this place is way over hyped.
