Decided to dine at Rockbottom on Saturday 8.27.16. Just a mere couple days since re-opening. Took 45 minutes for 2 people to be seated and over an hour for 2 burgers to be delivered to our table. Lights on the patio didnt work because electricians apparently cut wires (so said our server), youd think they wouldve created some form of temporary lighting for their guests. After waiting an hour for our burgers, I finally asked our server how much longer it would be. She said she didnt know and that all the buns were ready and the owner was back there "expediting the orders". When we finally did get our overcooked burgers, one of them wasnt even what we ordered (mushroom burger). There were no mushrooms nor A-1 sauce. She took the plate back to the kitchen and then brought it back to us with the offer of "i can bring you some mushrooms if you want". Then she brought us the "only bottle of A-1 sauce" she could find. So what? We had to create our own mushroom burger? She told us there were only 2 cooks working. In the end, when she brought us our bill she told us she gave us 50% off the wrongly made burger and then told us that 50% was her EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT ! WHAT ??!! Seriously, we loved this place before the building went God awful red and black. Ill give them that they had just re-opened, but with the experience this staff proposedly has, our experience shouldve been WAY better.

I am utterly baffled by the positive reviews written here! This was easily one of the worst dining experiences of my life. First, we went on a friday evening so expected a bit of a wait, and were surprised when we needed to write our name on a chalk board to be put on the list. This seemed really bootleg, especially since no host was in charge of it, and several people were being seated who werent on the list. So we needed to wait TWO HOURS to be seated. We would have left much sooner than that but were constantly told "5-10 minutes" when we asked a member of the wait staff. When we finally were seated (at a picnic table outside with no silverware), it took a very long time to be served by our waitress, who was less then pleasant. Mind you, it would have been an even longer wait to be seated inside! We were shocked to find out that there were no measures being taken to stave off the many of bugs, and we were constantly swatting to prevent bug bites. I had several the next day. Service was VERY poor and it was apparent by the attitude of many of the other patrons, who were frequently and vocally complaining. A long story short, when the food came out it was okay, nothing awful but nothing spectacular. Certainly not worth the hours of time. Needless to say, I will not be returning, and I have warned a number of people in the area not to go. An absolute abomination.

If I could give 0 Starz I would. It was first and last time going. We went on Thursday night and it was dead. There were 3 tables sat on the patio. We were told we had to wait 10 minutes to be sat on patio just to even order drinks because the kitchen needed to catch up. After the hostess telling us this I didnt believe it so I asked the bartender who was rude. Ive been in the service industry my whole life, with my parents owning a restaurant. Ive never heard anything like this, especially when the place is half full. In order to stay in business and make money you at least seat people and let them order drinks and maybe an app. Its the basic 101 of the restaurant industry. You wont succeed if youre understaffed, not seating customers with a ton of open tables, and not up selling your products.

Without a doubt some of the most delicious food in the WNY area. Service is excellent and friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food is absolutely fantastic and at a very reasonable price. The night life seems to pick up later in the evening unless the Sabres are playing that night, then the bar will fill up right about game time. Many specials during football and hockey games including a free buffet. Bartenders are always more than accomodating and sincerely welcome all visitors as if they were a "local". Summer offers a great patio with ample seating and good service. Winter offers inside seating with a fireplace and a great view of the televisions both at the bar and in the restaurant. All in all, highly recommended as a great place for food and spirits.

When I first came in, all I saw was the bar and I thought the food wasnt going to be that good because of that. Dont let that fool you: the bar is small, and the restaurant part takes up most of the space. The owner greeted us when we came in, made us feel right at home. We were seated right away, had our drinks in about 3 minutes. Food took about 15 minutes or so (average for this area). The gnocchi was excellent (you could tell it was hand-made there, along with the sauce and meatballs). Prices were average, plan on ~$10 per meal plus drinks, and its worth every penny. Definitely will be coming back here real soon.

Ruzzines has CERTAINLY hit rock bottom. Their rat problem is abomination. I chose to be seated outside and while I was half way through my mozzarella stick appetizer when I noticed something the size of a small dog run beneath my feet, lo and behold it was the largest rat Ive ever seen and there were 50... 50... maybe 100 rats over by grovers. I left immediately without paying, and phoned the health inspector. I am SHOCKED they are still in business.

Food took forever after ordering. Literally about an hour. Then when it finally was served, the burger that one of us ordered was cold. We complained and they didnt charge us. Could have been an anomaly but we wont be going back for dinner. On the plus side, the Piña Colada they served was pretty good.

Very underrated, but has some of the best food around. Killer Cajun wings, burgers that are cooked to perfection, great salads, and a chimichanga that HAS to be experienced. Good friendly casual service too. Rather inexpensive for the quality and freshness of the food.

The best burger in town. Everything weve had on their menu is very good, but their burgers have kept me coming back for years now. The setting is uncomplicated and comfortable and weve never had a problem with prompt and good service.

Its been awhile since Ive been here. Its under new ownership and the menu is not nearly as good nor is the quality. The food took a long time to come out to us as well. Quite disappointed.

I was a little disappointed we went in based on the sign saying that there was a special. Once we got there we found out that special was only for Sunday and we were there on a weekday.
