Wow. Im thinking I should have read the reviews beforehand now... I got a pre packaged turkey sandwich which was fine. Wasnt great, but I also didnt expect it to be great, its a pre packaged turkey sandwich. Customer service was 50/50. I only say this because the duration of my visit consisted of two employees, one friendly guy, and one bitchy girl. NOW. For the CAKE. I was so excited, it was beautiful! I believe it was a cherry almond or cherry something.. I took the first bite and expected decadent bliss, instead my taste buds met OLD FRIDGE. No joke. I have tasted how cakes, pastries, cookies, etc. taste after they have been sitting in a refrigerator too long with other various flavored food items. If anyone else has experienced this for themselves then you know what I am referring to. I took a few more bites because I simply could not believe what my mouth was telling me. Considered trying again, but so many other local options that are great.

I feel bad to write such a horrible review, but I feel like something has to be said. I was going to go with this company for my Wedding Cake. So so glad I tried a cupcake. The cupcake was totally unedible, and tasteless. The texture was horrible, because it was non-existant. COPLETELY DRIED out. The frosting was horrible, hard and tasteless. Do they ever make new cupcakes or do they just leave them out for a year until they are sold ? The person behind the counter hardly cracked a smile, so maybe no one really cares about being friendly or satisfying customers so I really didnt feel comfortable saying anything. I am upset at myself now for not getting a refund or something. The cupcake went in the trash. Maybe other things taste good like the brownies my fiance raved about, but DO NOT GET A CUP CAKE!!

I wish I had read the previous review concerning the cupcakes. They were AWFUL. I ordered a dozen for our receptionists birthday at 9am, picked them up at noon, and we ate them at 1pm. Everyone had to toss thier cupcakes in the trash. They were incredibly dry, absolutely NO TASTE, and a complete waste of money. In addition to the poor quality of the cupcakes, the customer service is also lacking. When I called at 9am I was told there were no flavored cupcakes. When I arrived at noon to pick the plain ones up the case was full of flavored cupcakes. I will absolutely NEVER eat here again, and I will be sure to tell others how horrible the quality of the cupcakes are. For the price I paid I could have purchased 4 dozen doughnuts from Donut World, which is always consistent with their quality.

No thank you...considering that most reviews reflecting this location...was fair to modest about their expectations and experience dealing with this place is thought to give it a try. Well boy oh boy...I wish I would have took note the the ones whom also expressed how awful the cakes and or cupcakes are!....the staff was lacking personality on all levels...none the less I and my boyfriend purchased a chocolate chip cookie and lemonade raspberry cake. What a waste ..the cookie was OK...hard but not too old...you can tell it was at least 2-3 days old..now the cake .. dry dry dry and tastes like it had been in the refrigerator for at least a week...one bite was all that we can handle...never ever ever again.

Ive been a long time fan and customer of spring garden bakery. I love their muffins, especially the vegan pumpkin chocolate chip. I love their cakes, especially the raspberry amaretto. When it was time for my wedding, I ordered three of their cakes and they were all wonderful. Most of my guests were not vegan and were surprised at how great they all tasted! I really love the atmosphere as well and the way they have decorated and updated the place. Oh! and their bagels are great too. I went through a phase where I would get one everyday at tate st. coffee. I eat them plain, theyre so fresh and flavorful that theres no reason to toast them!

Worst Employees at Local Coffee Shop in Triad. These employees dont know a medium from dark roast. I couldnt get an honest answer from these guys. Asked a question about if the shop had a dark roast coffee and the answer was "those are the two we have." Hahaha. Its a yes or no answer.

The place itself is very quaint and what I expected. However the selection was not very large, that might have been because I came around noon. I ended up getting the last strawberry Danish which was good. Nothing over the top but good.

I first discovered this bakery on a walk home one fall day. I started with a pumpkin muffin and now I eat a muffin almost every Friday thanks to the bogo muffin special the have on Fridays. Their house blend of coffee is great too!

Hidden gem. They are open to try new recipes and baked goods. Wonderfully tasty ideas encased in glass, ready for your consumption. Great espresso and smooth drip. It may be by the college, but its not just for the students.

I love their coffee. I usually get a small coffee anywhere else, but at SGB I get a medium. Recently, Ive been sad when I finish and wish there were more, so today I got a 20oz coffee. Im still sad when its gone. :(

It was a cute little bakery with a good selection of vegan goodies. They didnt have any vegan cupcakes but you are able to order as many as you want a few days in advance. I will be going back.

A quaint older style atmosphere of the bakery you used to frequent years ago. Excellent local coffees and the best pastries around. And dont forget that they do have a lunch menu.

I have found this to be the only vegan bakery in Greensboro. The vegan pumpkin chocolate chip muffins are gorgeous and the Earth Fare on Battleground even carries them!
