When I ordered my Chinese Dinner, I was a strong, vibrant, fresh-faced man. As I waited for the food, time passed. My skin began to sag and my beard grew. The echoes in the wind from the mountains told me to wait, fore a lovely Chinese dinner would arrive. I didnt know whether to believe the echoes, but I did and continued to wait. My beard was grey now and my body, frail; I knew there wasnt much time left for me. I started to doubt my belief in the echoes that had promised a tasty Chinese dinner. As I sat and waited, I could feel my time running out, my faith was shaken and I considered ordering chicken wings from Papa Johns instead. Suddenly the echoes from the mountains spoke to me again. They promised my food would arrive soon. "When!?" I screamed back to the echoes. "Soooooooon" they replied. Then a heavenly chime (the doorbell) called out throughout the land, and a small young man approached. He told me of the terrible tales he ha encountered on his quest to deliver my food. The poor young man looked positively ravaged by the world. So I took the package of food from him, gave him 6 silver coins in return. I proceeded to dap him up and send him on his way. I then took the food inside, and it was just as the echoes had promised - Delicious and hot.

Children in family-owned Chinese joints (at least for me) have pretty much always been a thing and if you cant deal with it or just hate cute children in general then you can get take out and sit outside with the homeless guys that loom around that area. The Chinese are also pretty forward over the phone which we see as "rude" but they see as perfectly normal. Theyre operating a restaurant in OUR country/culture sure, but if you cant handle Chinese people at a Chinese restaurant then Im not sure what to tell you. Singapore Chow Mei Fun is always my go-to and never fails, but recently it seems they changed their dumplings to use a strange thick bread which frankly sucks. Good place if you just want standard American Chinese fare. For something more "authentic," try Apple China next to Super G Mart.

We order from this restaurant fairly often and normally have excellent service. Tonight we are still waiting on our order, which was placed over an hour ago. Their new employee made the simple and understandable mistake of putting the wrong ticket on our order along with another gentlemans. This gentleman informed me(my number was on the ticket) that the delivery driver had returned to trade the orders several minutes after receiving ours. I hope this is not a normal business practice and a mere panic reaction. Ive worked in the food service industry and understand the crap people have to put up with, but please dont be short or push the blame of the entire mishap on your driver when you were the one at fault. Other than this incident, food and delivery time has always been terrific.

The first time I went, I got egg drop soup, something that always makes me feel good. When I got home and opened up my bag, the egg drop soup was green tinted and had a funky smell to it. I tried going back tonight, just to see if they had improved from last year, and They got my order wrong, not leaving out the shrimp (that I have a horrible allergy to) in my singapore noodles, and then, when I got home they just threw basic padthai into a container and gave it to me. There was no chicken, no beef, and no curry seasoning on it at all. Absolutely the worst service I have ever had.

I like this place. It has a good menu and on tate street is one of the best deals there are for your bang for your buck. Some of the dishes are a bit too sweet or too bland. But there are some good tasting dishes. I see many people that like the sesame seed chicken, general tso chicken, and the chicken wings (the chicken wings tend to be eaten by the black people though). Their none lunch specials usually comes with a point of plain rice. They have a cactus plant near the front door. That kind of is bad feng shui in regard to getting customers in. Oh well.

Terrible, The first time I ordered from here my sesame chicken was burnt and I called to inform them of this mistake and they hung up on me. I called and ordered food from them today a year later from my first bad experience and it has been over two hours and my food has still not been delivered. I called and they told me the printer was broken and my order was not received. They would not give me my money back or anything. The lady was very rude and I will not be ordering from this restaurant again and I suggest you do not either.

Best American Chinese ive had in ages. Always get it hot and fresh and very quickly. They never get my order wrong and everything tastes great. Usually order sweet and sour chicken for my kids, and it is always crispy (no veggies in it though). And im not one to eat pork fried rice usually, but theirs is amazing. Only place ive ever eaten where both the crab rangoon and pot stickers are good. The delivery people are always friendly too! Definitely a favorite in our house

The food is decent enough, for the price, but the atmosphere is horrendous. The owners tend to have their children in the restaurant, which wouldnt be bad -- if the children didnt run around and scream while patrons dined. It would be one thing if this was an isolated occurrence; however, it has happened literally every time I have gone to the restaurant over the span of years. Delivery is the way to go if you choose China Wok.

Good chinese food for a cheap price, cant get much better than that. Hands down the best roast pork with chinese vegetable Ive ever had. Delivery is fast but it is so close to the university, and you live on campus, that u might as well save yourself the charge and make it a pick-up. Friendly people in my experience

Well my wife and I just ordered to combo plates, which cost us 7 dollars less than the restaurant right down the block! I ordered our meals at 5:08pm, while waiting we were relaxing, got a call, paid, and ate our meals. Once done and cleaning up we looked at the time and it was 6:10pm!!! Wow

Got a delivery from here a few days ago. They got here within a good time frame and my food was still hot and it was delicious. They have some new menu items as well that are pretty good. Ive tried the Pad Thai and Basil shrimp and they are both within a reasonable price range.

Service is ok. And thats a compliment. There seems to be no desire to improve customer service here or try and bridge the language barrier. Not the cleaniest place but if your looking for chinese food, this could be it. $5 minimum on credit cards.
