Came here because a friend recommended it. It was a Friday evening. I had high hopes upon arriving, and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere. Great looking patio, but sat at the bar inside since it looked like it might rain. They had live music which was good. Great alcohol selection. Lots of Whiskey/Whisky choices and a nice selection of local beers. Menu looked promising, but thats where the positives stopped. Burger bun was burnt, asked for medium rare, got WELL-done, the brisket that I added for 3.50 was cold. Overall, very mediocre meal. Service was okay. The prices felt high for the quality/portions. But the worst part was definitely the gross smell that my date and I had to endure. The bar smelled like a dirty dumpster, was horribly distracting and made it difficult to enjoy any part of the experience. Very unlikely Ill go back, but if I do, I wont sit at the bar and Ill go when its dead to maybe get better food (I hope). Theres just too many great places to eat in Charlotte to get away with mediocrity.

I had seen this restaurant while in the South Park area a couple of times in the past but never had a chance to check it out. For a late birthday celebration with a couple of friends I decided to give it a try and we were all impressed. The night we went they had half off of their specialty cocktails, they specialize in whiskey and bourbon drinks, and they were great. All of the food we got was delicious, the bacon wrapped BBQ meatballs and cornbread appetizers were the best! We will definitely come here again and the decor was fitting for a "treehouse". The waitress was friendly and attentive also. The only negative I had was that I ordered an apple turnover/pie type dessert with no caramel sauce on it but it came out with caramel and chocolate sauce when chocolate wasnt even mentioned in the description. Im allergic to chocolate but the server that brought it out got me a new one and was very apologetic. Thankfully the dessert was well worth the wait!

Extremely loud! I literally have to scream at the person sitting right next to me and this has occurred the three times Ive been. No matter where you sit, the music and acoustics are horrible. Im not a negative Nancy, but I will never go back. Such a cool environment, its a shame that the owner cant invest in something to improve the acoustics and turn down the overhead music. Also, the bar staff seems to hate their job. A few folks were nice, but the overall feeling was on unhappiness with their job. This is a management issue, through and through. I gave this place a fair shot, now, I will avoid it moving forward.

What a great Sunday afternoon hangout. The staff was super friendly and when they say theyre dog friendly they really mean it! The doggy daiquiri treats were a nice touch and Tiger enjoyed hers. Nice craft beer list and our server was happy to bring me a sample of a brew Id never heard of. We ordered several of the specialty tacos and they were absolutely delicious. Edie and Jacob playing live music on the patio did a fantastic job, and are super nice folks to chat with as well. I definitely give the Treehouse Whiskey and Fork high marks, and well be back soon!

This was our first time there. We checked at the desk, they said the wait would about 40 minutes, and they would text me. We got a drink, talked a waited. About 45 minutes in, went and checked on where we were in the order, only to find out we had been deleted. I was then told we would be the next seated. We waited at the desk for another ten min, when I asked again, u was told it would be another 10 minutes. I called Wolfman pizza and left, but I did state the was our first and only time here, I hope they pass it along

Food was terrible, draft beer was the worst I have ever tasted. They should be shut down for whatever they did to their beers. I didnt know you could mess up a beer that bad. Tasted like they poured the beer 2 weeks ago then left it near the oven. The bottled version you get at the grocery store is much better. After we ate, we walked to TMACs to make a sanely check. Ordered the same exact beer and it was 100x better. Ill NEVER go to or recommend Treehouse Whiskey again

Not consistent at all. Watched the bartender/manager open a bottle with her teeth then put it up on the serving rack. Brought burger without bacon as ordered and onion rings were overcooked. See picture. Both manager and waitress were nice and worked to resolve problem, although I never did get the bacon. Meal was comped. I have been there 6 times and there is a serious lack of attention to details. Nice people but no training. I will not return.

Came in around 9 for dinner and it was pretty slow. We were seated and promptly forgotten about... Sat for over 10 minutes without a single person approaching us until the hostess (seating another table) paused and asked if wed been helped yet and how long wed been waiting (she was the one who sat us) said she would get someone right away then goes back and gets on the phone. Completely neglectful service.

I really really want to like this place. Its a cozy restaurant with great ambiance and a nice outside patio. The wait staff is nice and usually attentive. However the service seems slow even when the restaurant is not busy. The food is tasty but overpriced for the portions. Maybe the price is due to the location. I would recommend trying the tacos if you have time to wait for service.

It was truly an amazing experience! The people were so friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, and they are so creative! The atmosphere is literally a tree huggers dream, and the they have so many new and wonderful recipes! My family and I loved the place, the people, and the music! We will definitely be coming back, and very soon!

Highly varied menu. Tried the tacos. Korean BBQ wasnt bad, but lacked the sauce flavor to really call it Korean. The shrimp taco was really good. Wish I had remembered to ask for corn shells, but the food was good anyway. Dark beer selection is very limited. Was a bit disappointed since I was craving dark beer.

Unfortunately there sewer pump went out and the bathrooms were not working. After two drinks and appetizers, we had to cut our meal short for the lack of bathrooms. The waitresses offered no solutions. Might try it again, but first impression is that the staff need to be better trained.

Service at the bar was terrible. Blonde bartender was more interested in planning her evening than taking care of customers. Food was cold when it finally arrived. Over priced and terrible service....avoid it, South Park has to many better choices than to waste your time here.

Sat at the bar for exactly 40 minutes without ever being asked if i wanted to order food. I understand if the olace was full, it was at most 3/4 full at one point. After i flagged someone down for some chicken wings, they were just ok as i expect the rest of the food was.
