La comida aqui sabe buena. Pero no se porque razon siempre que vamos nos da MUCHO dolor de estomago. Hemos tratado diferentes platillos y hasta sin salsa pensando que puede ser el exceso de AJO en sus comidas y hasta solo cosas fritas. Ya hemos intentado en 5 ocaciones Y de todas maneras nos cae muy mal. Escribo este review en general ya que somos un grupo de 11 personas y SIEMPRE nos a echo sentir muy mal por varios dias. Lamentablemente NO vamos a volver pq aunque sabe riquisima no sabemos el pq luego de comer aqui los resultados son fatales

Where to begin, how about the most obvious: the place is rundown and smells moldy but I ignored it bc sometimes looks can be deceiving. The service and staff were beyond HORRIBLE. It took so long to get the unfriendly waitress to come to the table, only to have to wait another 30 minutes before she came back out to let us know they dont have about 1/2 the menu available (there was only one other party of 4 in the entire building; we were a party of 3) Once the food came out, what a disappointment. The Picadillo appetizer came with ONE piece of salami cut in half and the rest was dried meat (beef jerky wouldve been a better option) To describe what a let down each entree dish was would take me all night. To put a cherry on top of the worst brunch Ive ever had, when the bill was brought out to us, we were automatically charged a 15% tip and were asked if we wanted to include "additional tip". What a JOKE! As much as I wanted to love this place, bc I love Dominican food, trust, I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Going experience because I am Puerto Rican, 1st thing Missy an amazing waitress. 2 mofongo was grey in color, kind of odd. Also the shrimp al ajillo was salty. We LOVED THE ENPANADAS. The bistec was salty as well. Rice really had no flavor. When we first got there the table had salt all over but they were nice to make sure and clean it. All in all I give it a 4 ONLY because salt is very heavily used and mofongo not for me from here. Again thanks to Missy for allowing us to at least have a good experience.

Ive went to here once before with a friend and the wait was long but worth it. We went today and we had to wait 15 minutes for them to heat up cold soup then when we asked for bread with butter they took so long to comprehend it and to get to getting it for us we just walked out, they even gave my friend all chicken in her soup when she asked for just pork.

The food was amazing. Delicious. True Dominican food. The Mangu hit the spot. I did not give it 5 stars because the waitress who brought the food wasnt very good. Needs better training. Rarely checked up on us. The music was a bit loud to the point I couldnt hear my friends. However, the food triumph over everything else.

Walking in and looking around already had a bad vibe but I was told the food was good so I stayed... boy did I regret it! Waitress wasnt pleasant, we waited over an hour for food we didnt get to eat because we got tired of waiting and just paid our drinks and left. I would NEVER go to this place again.

Only go here if you like being served by unfriendly staff... Just went for lunch and there was no smiling faces or welcoming attitudes. The waitress we had was horrible and her attitude was the worst...Next time we will try PC;)

The best AUTHENTIC Dominican food in Charlotte. Very reasonably priced. If you think the P.C place is good, you will love this one. I like most of the the recent upgrades they made.

The best Dominican Restaurant in Charlotte and its surroundings (this coming from a native Dominican). I highly recommend the shrimp mofongo or the chivo (stewed goat meat). A++!
