This was quite possibly the worst dining experience Ive ever had in my life. My family (party of 12) was going to be dining on a Friday evening. Knowing that it was a busy time we called ahead to make sure they could accommodate our party. After calling in we were told that they would set up a table, to come ahead. We arrived at our reserved time and went in to let a hostess know that we were there. We could see a table set up for 12 but when we went in to let them know that we were there the waitress said, "you talked to Antonio, cant you see were busy? Youll have to wait like everyone else." We should have left. After about twenty minutes of waiting in a very tiny space we were seated at the tables that had been set up since before we got there. When our drinks were brought to us there was a hair wedged under the lemon on the side of the glass, when we asked the waitress (a different one) for a new glass she rudely said, "I cant help it, I shed." Again, we should have left. We ordered two pizzas and pasta for the kids. After another twenty minutes one pizza and two pastas were served. We waited, and waited, and waited on the second pizza and remainder of our kids meals. We asked the waitress about our missing food and she said, "Oh yell, Im yelling at them in the back to get the pizza out." We waited, a full hour after placing our order and the other pizza came out. We expected it to be hot, out of the oven. The pan was cold to the touch, the cheese was hard from sitting out, and the crust was dry, hard, burnt and, well, crusty. The rest of our party was already finished eating by the time our pizza came out. I dont know if the waitress just lied, or mis-spoke, but our pizza was not being cooked, it wasnt even under a heating lamp. It was cold and dry. There are SO many pizza places in Charlotte, take my advice, stop at one of those on your way to this one.

We live close by and figured to try them out after moving into the area. We werent impressed. While the service was okay - it took awhile at times to get what we needed/wanted - the food and atmosphere was subpar. The ravioli with the house sauce my husband had was bland. The ravioli tasted like it was from frozen...not fresh. The sauce tasted like it was maybe put together by the cooks...but from a can mixed with fresh ingredients. The meat sauce tasted the same and the angel hair pasta was overcooked a bit. The chicken and French Fries off the kids menu was definitely not fresh...definitely frozen before being cooked - and the chicken was overcooked. The ranch dressing for the salad was definitely yummy...but it didnt taste homemade like it was claimed to be. Maybe it was more semi-homemade. Also...for an italian restaurnt, they could do to add fresh parmesan to be the topping rarther than leave shakers of freeze dried stuff on the table - which is tasteless and who knows how long it has been sitting out. Plus, the ketchup bottle we were given for the kids friens was definitely refilled beyond what it should be...as the label and bottle was dirty and oily. The atmosphere could do to be refreshed. The paint on the walls is in need of a bad overhaul and the color scheme could do to lighten the place up...and the tables could really use a good overhaul as well. Again...the service...okay. The food...edible, but left to be desired again. Perhaps we will order the pizza to take out down the road to try it. If we are displeased with that, we will simply go back to Olive Garden when we want Italian.

We live 5 minutes down the road from here and had ordered quite often. Recently, it seems the food has gone downhill and so has management. Tonight, for instance, we ordered a medium calzone to split. Cheese and ham. When we got home and opened the box, we could see this liquid coming out of the top. No biggie. My husband used to work in an Italian restaurant and we know soft cheeses are sometimes liquidy. But, when we cut it open, a pool of white cloudy liquid spilled out. It was so much liquid that we could pour in it an 8oz cup and almost fill it... Thats not right. When we called, we were told that a liquidy calzone was normal. Even after telling them that weve eaten their calzones before and they have never been like this. This was basically a bread bowl of soup. Whoever my husband spoke to really put up a fight and said we didnt know what we were talking about, and that he would make us a pizza instead (what we asked for as a replacement) but he would up charge us. We brought the whole calzone back and showed him the liquid. He said "whats it suppose to do?" "Its ricotta" My husband picked it up and drained it in front of him and the girl at the register had to step back so she didnt get splashed. We left having wasted gas, money, and no pizza. We will never order here again. Just a really awful experience. We also started getting

My husband and I decided to give this little Italian restaurant a try. We have come across some real authentic Italian treasures this way, however this was NOT one. We had soup and salad which was ok and each ordered their Stromboli ... It comes with mushroom, sausage, and pepperoni. My husband asked to hold the mushrooms. The sauce was poor quality canned marinara. The dough was still raw in the center through out the Stromboli. Mine, which had mushrooms, was 50% stuffed with cheap canned mushrooms. We ate what we could from opening it and eating around the raw dough. When we brought it to the waiters attention he explained that all restaurants get the same complaint The "Owners" never offered to come speak with us and made it clear that they could care less about the low quality and undercooked food. We paid 29.49 and tipped the waiter his appropriate 15% ( we normally tip at least 30%).... Dont waist your money!!!! There are plenty of really good restaurants that deserve and appreciate your business... This is not one!!!!If I could rate it zero stars, I would!!!

I like this place. Its nice, elegant, and you feel at home inside. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The other waitresses seemed genuine as well. The menu options were impressive and felt authentic. Love going to a foreign restaurant and seeing their native people eating there. 5/5 for customer service. 3.5-4 out of 5 for the pizza (notice I said pizza and not food). It was tasty and the crust was pretty good but I couldnt help but think the toppings and presentation of the pizza reminded me of a digiorno. It affected my overall experience thinking of it like that. As I looked over my shoulder at the pasta and shellfish dishes that came out I couldnt help but wonder how I should have ordered something else. Nonetheless, pizza was good and I ate it all.

We have been dining at Capriccios now for many years. The owners, cooks and wait staff are friendly and make you feel like part of the family, especially when you cant help yourself and you love the food so much you end up back to eat more than once a week some weeks! We have not had anything we havent loved. The pizzas are delicious. You are crazy if you dont try the knots and the warm bread and butter they bring you before your meal.......Im just saying yum. If you like Calamari it is an appetizer favorite. I could go on and on. This is our favorite restaurant in Charlotte. If they get busy at dinner time there is a reason for it people love this restaurant. We go a bit later and it is fine no wait. Enjoy!
