I recently ate here with my Husband and our Son, on 9/10/15, First of all let me say My food was okay nothing worth bragging about and my Husband had a similar opinion of his food as well. My son liked his spaghetti but for the portion size it was way to high at $9...where as the adult portion is only a few dollars more so the value factor is low, I also felt the cost of both of our plates was much too high as well, being that the food wasnt great I could have made it better myself at home actually. Their sweet tea was also extremely bitter like it was old, and it wasnt sweet either, thats a huge pet peeve of mine if I order sweet tea it should be sweet, duh. Anyway, as you can probably tell I was not planning on ever going back to Little Italy....BUT the reason I am taking the time to write this review is because of what I found out just yesterday by accident. My card was charged an extra $5 on top of the actual bill And we left a cash tip and I even wrote on my ticket cash on the tip line. Now when I called I spoke to a Chris about this and he said he will be refunding the money for my whole ticket which is a nice gesture but, heres the thing I get the feeling this was not a surprise to him because he said a few things that didnt add up like "sometimes" their system adds a 20% gratuity to pending charges but it would drop off.....well 20% of $50 is not $5. It just seemed very suspicious to me, he even located my ticket without even asking me for my name of information, How could you do that unless I was the ONLY customer that ate there that day? which we were not, so I just feel this is a scam or some shady plan he and the server might be in on or maybe its just him who knows but I will be talking to them again tonight because the more I think about this the more it pisses me off. I will also be reporting them to the BBB and telling everyone I know about this, credit card fraud is a big deal! You cant charge your customers extra money to line your pockets with. Period.

Love, love, LOVE this place! The food is always amazing and fresh! You will leave there rolling out with a full belly! The bartender, Thomas, is superb! If you dont know what you want to eat or drink, he has great suggestions! All of the staff are wonderful and you can tell they enjoy their job! I love the gnocchi in pesto, all homemade of course. Their fish and lamb is some of the best you can get in all of Savannah. Dont even get me started on their Caprese Salad! Ive never had such fresh and juicy tomatoes and fresh mozzarella at a restaurant! I go there as often as I can just for that! If you have a group make sure to reserve a table! Otherwise the bar is super comfortable!

Good. Not great by any stretch. Being from New York, Ive eaten at great Italian restaurants and this is not one of them. Very overpriced for a meal you can get at Carabbas or Macaroni Grille. Definitely a step up from Olive Garden, but not nearly as good a deal. Overall, my party of four were pretty disappointed. The staff was very good, the service friendly, but our meal came out cold and was really nothing special. For Savannah, its a good Italian restaurant. From somebody that knows, appreciates and loves Italian cooking, its a fail... and its way overpriced!

Fun atmosphere, authentic cuisine that gives even my Nona Gaglianos home cooking a run for its money! Beautiful windows and a patio (with fans) overlooking the marsh. Sunsets are absolutely gorgeous!! If youre celebrating a birthday be sure to let your server know and you will get a birthday Canoili and the owner, Chef Gary, and his family will come out and sing Happy Birthday for you in Italian!!! Just make sure to put in a reservation online or over the phone, because they fill up fast!

Being Italian, my family and I had our own favorite Italian restaurant that we have been going to since I was 5 years old. I am nos 34 years old and have yet to find an Italian restaurant that I love as much as that one. Until today!!!! Little Italy on Wilmington Island, by far, has the best food and service I have yet to have. I cannot believe they are now my favorite number 1 Italian eatery. Thank you so much!!!

My husband and I went for our anniversary. We received excellent service, and out portions were huge. I had the veal, and was sounded at the size of my meal! The pricing is perfectly on point for the quality/portion for a restaurant like this in our area. I recommend it to colleagues at work all the time. Were planning to go back tonight!

Service was slow, food had much to be desired. I had Pollo Alfredo, they used egg noodles instead of linguine noddles and Alfredo sauce didnt taste anything like Alfredo. My husband had lasagna and said it didnt have layers like lasagna should and the noodles were soggy.

Worst Italin food Ive ever had, service was not good. Asked for bread and she brought it out and shot it on our table. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Prices are VERY high and portions are small. Save your money. Nothing comes with your meal.

Our first time here, we werent disappointed. Nice atmosphere, quiet and all our party were pleased with their entry. The veal was outstanding best Ive had in recent memory, highly recommend giving it a try. Beware servings are large so come hungry.

Prices are way too high for just ok Italian. I live on the southside of Savannah and went out of my way to get this food to try. Wont do it again. No offense intended, just reality for me.

Food and wine, wonderful. Live music was excellent but wish that tables were set away from music - too much chatter and music. Service was efficient. I would return.

Everything I tried was amazing from the oil and herbs they served with the bread to the eggplant appetizer to the veal saltimbucco. Will definitely be back.
