Extremely dis-appointed and service at OG has gooten so worse lately. In last few visit, its been so bad with in-experience staff and not well trained new server. Ive been eating at this OG and at OG over 19+ years and lately in last 2 years, stop going too often. After tonigts experience am not sure if will go back to any OG again. I would ruther go and like the service at Macaroni Grill. We used to LOVE Service at Greensboro location on High Point Road and even new one in Burlington BUT the Cary Location and even Raleigh one as well, Service is so BAD and its not worth going as there pleanty of other better choices. PLEASE.. PLEASE Train your New Staff/Server better, give them enough Training and have Senior person looking after them for at least few weeks until they are well trained, dont just put them to work on their own. Also, please try to keep existing senior staff and pay them little extra so they will not leave and quit and you train new staff again. Remember it cost you more to hire and train individuals at long run then keeping the existing staff and take care of them and pay little extra if needed. US has become pretty much only service industry and Service at Restaurant is extremely important and should be 1st priority even before quality of food. I work in Hospitality industry for over 12 years and knows/understand very well what service is all about. We were there to enjoy and get quality food along with good service not necessary expecting excellent service and we were not there to get free food or dessert. Olive Garden WAS one of THE BEST Restaurant chain for our whole family (infact it WAS Number 1) BUT No longer in our list now. I hate to go to OG now and dont even want to think about it going again. Good luck to you and hope you will improve service and train your staff/service well enough. It is not only about taking order and bringing food to the Table, it is about Service and more then just taking order and delivering food to table, hope you go the point.

Well my family and I are new to NC and were out fishing and playing with the kids. Driving home I spotted Olive Garden. Coming from California this has always been my all time favorite restaurant. I love the soup salad and bread. I have tried many other entrees. But I go back to my soup salad and bread. So to get to the point my family and in were treated wrong. First of all we were not in suits and ties but sweats and jeans, as I mentioned we were fishing and playing out doors. We were waiting for ever for a seat.. There were nice Sunday dressed familys with the same number of people in there party seated before us. After waiting over and hour and 15 minutes. We were called for our table. The waiter comes we order our drinks. He comes back with them nice and quick. He proceeds to take our order. When we the whole family order soup salad and bread sticks being our favorite.. Totals 5..We were then told that we were not at an all you eat Buffet!!!! I was shocked chin to the table did not know what to say.. I then replied Yes I know we are at Olive Garden.and he walks away. I looked at my husband and the kids and told them guys I think we are not welcome here.. And we left. Mind you I have 3 hungry kids who really enjoy Olive Garden. Had to explain That after waiting all that time we are leaving.. Because some people do. not know how to not be prejudice.. I am white and my husband is Latino. I can tell you that we went to the Olive Garden on Capital Blvd in Raleigh and got very good service. All the way around from start to finish. It was worth the extra drive and the additional 30 minutes we waited for our table. Thanks for reading.

We have been eating here on and off for the past 10 years. It has always been decent, but the last few times it has definitely gone down hill. Last night will be the last time we ever eat here. I got the classic tour of Italy, which normally would be a full plate of food, 3 entrees that I usually can only eat 2 of and usually take one home. But last night, the portions were so small, it barely covered half the plate. The lasagna consisted of only had 2 layers and was so flat, by looking at it I seriously couldnt tell which one was the chicken parm or the lasagna. For $17, it was very overpriced. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food (the longest we have ever waited) even though the restaurant wasnt full at the time and when our food arrived, it was obvious it had been sitting for a while because the pasta was already getting dried out and hard and the alfredo sauce had started to coagulate. The salad was mostly pieces of the core of the lettuce head, the part you throw out, and lots of purple cabbage. Just 1 tomato slice, 2 olives, 1 pepper and a few croutons....for 2 people to share! The only good part of the meal were the breadsticks, which are always warm and fresh. Also, we were greeted very nicely upon arrival and our server was great at keeping our glasses filled. Our bill for a chicken parm dinner, tour of Italy dinner and 2 teas was $40, before tip. Considering the quality of the food, the small portions and the long wait, it was worth closer to $20. There are much better Italian food options in the Cary area for about same price.

I have never been more disappointed in an Olive Garden. I chose here to celebrate my Birthday with my son. The waitress came and took our drink orders, came back took our appetizer order 2mins later came for our entree order and disappeared. Another waitress brought the stuffed mushrooms....no plates to put them on. Our waitress showed up and I asked if we could get plates and our drinks that we had been waiting 30 mins for. When she brought them I asked if there was a reason we did not get salad and bread sticks, she said "Oh did you want those?" Well our entree arrived right on top of appetizer the salad arrived after and it was a joke, less than a half bowl, 1 black Olive, no grated cheese offered or given. My son ordered the stuffed chicken Marseille with garlic mashed potatoes. He got two small breast, no stuffing and roasted potatoes and carrots. They reordered it, and it was a joke, a ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes and 2 small pieces of chicken, it looked like it was one breast cut in half to look like two. Now my dinner was good, but the portion was so small that there wasnt anything left to take home. A first for me. And for the first time I ate desert, Im always too full for desert. So I would say someone needs to do a complete over hall of this restaurant. From the manager on down. I will tell everyone to drive a little further to a different Olive Garden. If I could give a 0 I would.

I have been going to various Olive Gardens for at least 18 years and have always had the same experience. Great bread sticks and salad, usually dont get an entree b/c I know how it tastes, and average to good service. This is the WORST Olive Garden I have ever been too, and quite possibly the worst restaurant. Our silverware was dirty, the salads took forever to come, the breadsticks werent fresh, the drinks stayed empty. I complained to the manager and he did nothing. It seems to me when a customer walks across the restaurant to find you it should indicate there is a problem. Apparently not so here. As we walked out I asked him why he didnt do anything and he told me that he didnt see a problem. We were in a party of nine, so unfortunately the gratuity was added to the bill. Often times in a restaurant I will be sure to tip the server extra when the food is unsatisfactory b/c it requires extra work on their part and its not her fault. This was ALL the servers. We were supposed to have two, so you would think we could have had adequate service. Its frustrating to me to know that because of the location this place will never lack for customers. Their management does not deserve the amount of business he gets.
