The food was delicious but the service was equatable to trying to have a sit-down dinner at a fast food place. We were greeted and seated but then forgotten about. After a 15 minute wait where no one even glanced at us, or even ask about drinks, I went up to the counter to ask if we had to place our order, at the register. The girl at the counter asked if anyone had taken our order yet and I said no so she turned to the four employees standing around behind the counter and asked if one of them could take our table. One young man said he would and came over to take our order. He did and was pleasant enough but the entire ordeal took much longer than usual. The soda machine was broken and they charged us for additional dressing (if you order a main salad, they give you the same amount of dressing as a side salad receives and charge you for one more tiny serving). It really was a shame because the food was good but definitely not worth it. It wasnt a busy day and there were many empty tables but the employees mainly stood around on their phones and ignored customers. My husband and I will not be returning.

I was very disappointed. We waited 20 minutes to be seated, and then another 15 minutes before our server came over. It took 30+ minutes to get our coffees, and after an hour we asked about our food. Our food had been delivered to another table, and we had to ask before they even told us. After another 40 minutes, with no food. We decided to leave. We asked for water, which we never got. We were pretty sad, because the food looked and smelled amazing. It was sad that the staff didnt really care, they wanted to charge us for food we never received, which we asked them to take off. No one apoligized or seemed to care. Tables who were seated after us, received food, and left before us. We have all worked as servers in the past, so we understand how stressful it can be when its busy, but the way we were treated was very disrespectful. We were from out of town, and we saw the reviews, so we were looking forward to this experience. We were pretty disappointed to wait 2 hours and never receive our food.

Service tonight was absolutely horrible during Wind down Wednesday. Clearly management should have had additional staff available on such a busy night. It took over 20 minutes to get just a water ..not a good start. Waitress kept saying she would bring our drinks and then proceeded to ignore out table as she passed us many times. When food arrived I only got a fork and was told it would be 10 minutes to get a knife....So I had to wait to get the knife before I could eat my food. When it came time to get the check...another 20 minutes. The previous 2 other visits also had poor service but tonight was the worse. It is very unfortunate that management missed an opportunity to showcase their restruant on a busy night. Hiring people to just clear tables would have been an improvement. i wont be coming back.

Im writing this review after our second trip to Fresca. The cafe is very European, and theyve only been open for about 4 weeks. Our first trip was a take out order for lunch this past Wednesday and it had us wanting more. Today was our second trip with the in-laws for brunch. If you like crepes and good coffee you will LOVE this place. We have had their Black Forest Crepe, Portabello & Prosciutto crepe, Creamed Spinach crepe, and for dessert their Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas. I had a hot mocha, the mother-in-law had an iced mocha, and the father-in-law had a white chocolate mocha frappe. Everyone was very happy with the crepes and drinks.

I found this place a few years ago when I moved to the area. At first, the service was great and I love the chia tea. I always come back for the tea. However, the past few times I have come the service has been horrible! Each time Ive had to go back to the counter and ask for a menu. After sitting back down, I still wait another 15-20 minutes before anyone even comes to get a drink order. When the food arrives the order is usually wrong. Its unfortunate because the owner is very nice and really mindful of her customers. Unfortunately, I think this will be my last visit. I have given Cafe Fresca many chances to improve my opinion but nothing changes.

I loved the food, it was amazing and one of the best Ive had! The customer service was equally as awful though. The staff were nice but we got no service whatsoever. We never got a water refill and had to go up to the front to order the food and get the check. Other tables were being serviced, however. We had a 2-year old with us and we asked for the check pretty soon after we ate since our son was getting antsy. Our server said ok, walk away behind the counter and never brought us the check. We waited 5 minutes and finally had to go to the counter to pay. In summary, go for the food, but dont expect service.

We stopped by here for a quick cool down treat after visiting the playground at Waverly Place on the way to Whole Foods with our young daughter. Its a comfortable place with some great outside lounge seating. Displays look fantastic and the place is super clean. We were stopping for gelato only this visit and after a couple taste spoons of some flavors we decided that the Tiramisu and the Boscatto were standout, they were also staff faves. A small gelato (2 very small scoops) is around $4... pricey but quality. It was great and Im sure well be back for gelato and other offerings.

My family and I have been going to Fresca since theyve opened. The food is very well prepared and the gelato is awesome. What sucks, unfortunately, is the service. As long time customers, we were used to being seated fast enough and experiencing attentive care from the waitstaff. Recently, last week, my boyfriend and I tried to be seated for a late lunch. They seated us and completely forgot about us! We left after waiting fifteen minutes with the waitstaff visibly joking around on their phones and messing with drinks for themselves. Its a shame because we love the food.

Every review that complained about service and sitting and then leaving has to do with the fact that they dont read to know they need to go inside to be seated even outside. So if you happen to be sitting down and you dont get menus that would be because you need to go inside to be seated. So stop complaining, the place is great. Oh my god, that Cesar Salad, is to die for. Friendly, and beautiful ☺️, waitresses. The owner is friendly and it was a pleasure meeting her. They have great sandwiches and outdoor patio, great decor as well.

It is about Crepes.. Great Crepes.. great salad .. it is also about Gelato.. great gelato.. we have been coming here for years..and just realized that Fresca has not been reviewed.. we really love the food and their coffee.. the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the wait staff.. it has not been the same wait staff the last several times we were in.. this time the service was great.. but it has been inconsistent in the past .. good value for the money and plenty of parking in front of whole foods.. we will be back
