Let me start off by saying our server was SO FRIENDLY and she was great at her job. She was attentive and took very good care of us. This review is in NO way a reflection on her. Our food was beyond mediocre. The food here is so over-rated. We had the Creole Benedict and it was just so so. I am Creole- my family is born and raised in New Orleans area. This is not creole in any way. Secondly, for 10.99 it had very small shrimp, the little ones you get at grocery store for about $3 for a whole bag, and had chopped up bits of ham, chopped up bellpeppers, and some crab ontop of a baguette. The baguette was the size of an appitizer cracker and there were two of them. I will say there was surprisingly a good amount of crab though. The sauce was decent and if it was not for the sauce the dish would have been a complete flop. The grits were bland. I have never had grits this bland ever- homemade, restaurant, or out of the walmart brand box. I was disappointed. The food was just so underwhelming. We are not from this area and based off the reviews were really excited about breakfast. It was definetly not worth the wait, and we will not go back. Again- the server was beyond friendly and she was great! The service in general was wonderful-now only if they could get the food as good as the service.

I have been a loyal customer of Brigs for more than 10 years. I recently went to Brigs at the Crossing, and had a terrible experience. I ordered the Virginia scramble, which I have had many times before. It arrived without chives, as described on the menu, but instead loaded with scallions, which were chopped into huge chunks; in fact, some pieces were 1.5" long. I sent it back, and they remade it (still with no chives, but at least with no scallions this time). They didnt offer an apology, nor did they make any adjustment to the check. By the time the second one arrived, my guest had finished, so I packed it up to go. Later I tried to eat it at home. I found a BONE in my scramble. And so much fat and gristle that I eventually gave up and threw it away. I am also fairly certain they did not put any cream cheese in it. I didnt want to write this review. I went to their website and detailed my concerns. I did not receive a single word back. Not even a cursory apology and promise to improve. So I felt I had no choice but to detail my negative experience.

I have to admit, this place is pretty good but it does have its flaws. The breakfast menu is pretty expansive, with some decent choices and the food was very good...if you like the greasy diner feel. Im originally from NJ, so diners and holes in the wall are what Ive eaten for most of my life, so I really enjoyed the food. Although, if youre not a fan of that type of atmosphere, you probably wont like Brigs. I did have one major complaint with the place...it was dirty. Would probably get a much better rating from me if they cleaned the dust off the blinds and windows and vacuumed the carpet. My wife complained that it smelled odd and would have to agree with the amount of dust throughout the place. Service was good, our waiter was friendly. Im up in the air whether or not Id go back.

Id heard lots of good reviews about Brigs so I decided to try it out when a friend was visiting from out of town. I had the Alaskan omelet with crab, cream cheese, and shrimp which was large and tasty. I also had a side of sausage which was delish and a blueberry pancake that was good. I was disappointed with the size and quality of the "fresh fruit" side option. We didnt have to wait to be seated, and our server was friendly but unfortunately not very attentive. The decor is definitely outdated and the seating along the interior is not very attractive or open. Overall it was a fair breakfast experience and I would try it again in the interest of supporting local businesses.

Ive been in NC for over 10 years and always wanted to try Brigs for breakfast. I ordered the Brigs Benedict and was under-impressed. The ham seemed pretty cheap and the Hollandaise was oily. The tomatoes were just conventional, tasteless tomatoes. The strawberries on the side were old (one had mold on it). The home fries were just ok. Maybe my expectations were too high from what I had heard from other people.

I have been looking for a place like Brigs ever since I moved to NC. Their western omelet is by far the best I have had in NC. The food always taste fresh and you can tell the cooks take pride in their jobs. The wait staff is always on point and greets you with a smile. I am a sweet tea connoisseur, and they are at the top of my list! If you enjoy amazing food and a great atmosphere, go to Brigs!!

Unnecessarily huge portions of pretty good food. Often stingy with important ingredients in the specials - the tiniest possible swirl of "cream cheese frosting" on carrot cake or red velvet pancakes; imperceptible mint and spices in lamb sausage; more breadcrumbs than crab in crab cakes; etc. Be prepared for a 1-3 hour wait for a seat and rushed service on weekends.

I kept hearing about this place from co-workers. So when I had a hankering for a good breakfast, this was my go-to. The service was great and the employees I encountered made me feel welcomed. The food was delightful and their menu was extensive. Will continue coming back to keep trying their other items out. I think you should too...oh, and get the French Toast.

This is always a solid place to go for a nice breakfast or brunch. I am particularly fond of their variations on eggs benedict. You can expect to wait a while on Saturdays or Sundays and the prices are a little steep, but this is definitely a very good place. After all, you dont typically have long lines at bad restaurants.

I have been going to the Cary Brigs location ever since it opened up (I think it was 1996-ish). They have always had great French Toast. And I cant believe I went 10 years or more before trying an Arnold Palmer, which is also very, very good. Service is always good and it is one of my favorite places to eat!

My family was looking for a good breakfast restaurant when we moved to Cary, which brought us to Brigs. We tried eating here a couple of times, but were disappointed. The breakfast food and service here are of average quality, but are very over-priced for what you get. I would not recommend eating at Brigs.

Weve been going here for the past 18 years! Im a picky person when it comes to food and service. Lisa, Dave and the team are awesome! They ensure that every dining experience is to everyones total satisfaction. Or kids have grown up on Brigs cuisine.. ever since in vitro.

I use to love this place, but theyre really started to go downhill the past year or two. The quality of the ingredients just doesnt seem the same to me, nor does the care with which theyre prepared. For the money, theres much better to be had.
