I had 2 eggs over medium with hash and cheese grits rather than potatoes. My one complaint was the eggs being over easy more than medium. I stopped in around eight in the morning and found the experience to be very nice. The grits are very good and the hash browns were a lovely brown with some small amount of diced peppers mixed in. There is a nice pepper sauce on the tables, branded as broken egg. Much of the decor is branded as well such as vases and coffee cups, looking the broken egg story up online I came to understand this model is both five star and based in New Orleans (next time Ill need to try the andouille... our maybe crab cakes) Looking at other reviews I get the impression that service may be off during a lunch rush, but the waitress who served me was very attentive. I will be very disappointed if this restaurant has suffered from the Cary foodie crowd writing poor reviews to sound like intellectuals. EDIT Came back for the sausage, it has a nice kick to it. Grits were still great. Shrimp and grits next time!

We reviewed the menu and were excited to try this place. Big mistake. The waiter would leave and not return for quite some time. When our food was brought out some of my friends potatoes had fallen out on the serving tray. The waitress decided it would be a good idea to pick up the potatoes with her bare hands and throw them back on his plate. How rude. Him and I both looked at each other in awe. We couldnt believe it! We asked another waitress for fresh potatoes. She took the plate and came back out in 60 seconds with the same luke warm potatoes. We had to flag down our waiter and we finally got fresh potatoes that hadnt been touched hopefully. The eggs were cold upon arrival and the bacon was dried out and burnt. Overall, It was a terrible experience and the food was not worth the price although theyre not terribly expensive. I may try the North Hills location in the future as the food on the menu has the potential to be great.

I almost didnt try this place because of a couple of negative reviews. But am I glad I went ahead and tried it. I visited at around 10:30am on a Thursday and the place was about 1/3 full. I was greeted immediately, taken to a nice booth and very quickly brought coffee and iced water while I perused the menu. Lots of good stuff to choose from. I picked the Belgian waffle with a side of eggs over easy and a sausage patty. After about a 10 minute wait, they showed up at my table along with a refresh of my coffee and iced water. Presentation was excellent, the food was hot and delicious! I have absolutely nothing bad to say and everything good to say about this place. Too bad I am going home to Colorado early tomorrow morning, or I would be eating breakfast here again. I just wish I had found it on Monday instead of on Thursday of my visit to North Carolina.

3 of us ate here along with one child. Food varied from mediocre to terrible. The crayfish and Andouille sausage omelet was surprisingly bland and was missing ingredients on half the omelet (1.5 stars). The cinnamon french toast was the best, but was still only OK. The southwest scramble was actively bad. The chorizo tasted closer to ground beef - completely flavorless. Same thing on the pepperjack cheese - it ended up being bland and flavorless. Overall the dish had almost no taste. The final straw was the bacon - it was so bad I had to spit it out. That is the first time in my life Ive not finished the bacon anywhere. Service was mediocre also. Prompt order and delivery of food, but the waitress never followed up to check on the food or offer refills on drinks.

Horrid.. I was so happy to find this place as I just moved from Fla and frequent that one almost daily when I lived there. The host kept telling people 20 minutes when 3 tables were clean and empty... I finally get my oder..drink was wrong...then good came and I specifically said no onions or peppers..i sliced into my 16 dollar eggs Benedict loaded with peppers and onions.. after a debate of why o couldnt eat onions and peppers I waited for a basic eggs benedict.. waiter sat it down and said hope you like it.. covered in onions all over the top clear as day.. being that families, were waiting I just gave up.. why I paid for it or tipped the guy 3 bucks was only out of respect for other guests.. so sad they lost a frequent CUSTOMER

Went for brunch today around 11:30 AM and not at all impressed. The young waiter was awful; had to ask a waitress who had her own customers to serve for a refill of our coffee. The tables around us (also served by the same waiter) were visibly frustrated by this young mans lack of service. I think his name is Jermaine, or Jamaal, maybe LaQuan - I didnt hear his name as he spoke low and did not enunciate. The food - I had an omelette which was fairly bland. A bland omelette with poor service and overpriced food result in me removing Another Broken Egg from my list of regular dining spots.

Worst lunch experience in Morrisville and surrounding! Terrible service. The food was overpriced and lacking. I ordered an egg and ham mixed omelet with select vegetables… What I was served was a greasy plate of chopped up potatoes with a small amount of ham and maybe enough vegetables to fill a shot glass. I couldn’t even distinguish the taste of any of the vegetables over the predominant greasy potatoes thrown on top of everything. I almost forgot to mention, they never added the egg to my egg omelet! Worst $12 lunch I have EVER had! Take my advise... go somewhere else.

My husband comes here often for work and highly recommended it. I am very picky and hard to impress (quality = $). I ordered the western omelette, which includes crispy bacon, sausage, onions, mushroom and cheddar cheese (I didnt get cheese, but instead added red bellpepper). My omelette came with potatoes that were so crispy and tastefully seasoned (Im not a potato gal!) and toasted English muffin (I added butter and black berry jelly). I was impressed and satisfied with my meal and the service was great as well. I would highly recommend trying this place out!!!

As expected for a Sunday morning, there was along waiting time with 17 parties ahead of us. We were given the option to receive Sms notification when our table was ready. After 45 minutes we were notified but we were only seated another 10 minutes later. 10 more minutes to have our orders taken, and the waiting went on and on (waiting for cream, pancakes, water, check .Observing the flow of the staff clearly showed how tables were not well managed. Unfortunately this was not a good experience, and the food was nothing special for the price paid. Wont be back.

Ok so we made a reservation 1 hour in advance. We come in, and then have to wait 45 min for them to put some tables together for our party of 9. We had a waitress, she kept stroking mine and the hair of my friends. CREEPY! My friend ordered sausage, it tasted very similar to a burnt meatloaf. Along with that, my brother orders pancakes with M & Ms, and there were none when they came out. The hostess was very incompetent, as she gave our table to somebody else. Have to go to therapy for this terrible experience. Dont think I will be eating here soon!
