I was introduced to Nove Italian by my Mother-in-Law. She had been searching the Saratoga/Wilton area looking for a nice place to host our rehearsal dinner. She gave the place rave reviews so on a whim, my MIL, wife and I stopped in there for lunch when we were in the area. The food was excellent, the staff was extremely friendly and we had an excellent first impression. We chose to have the rehearsal dinner here, about 30 people. They put together a menu of two options, salad, bread and table wine for us and we all had a great experience. Once again food and service were top shelf. I suggested this place to friends last week and 4 of us from high school (20 year reunion) w/wives met for dinner. Several of us chose to order off of the evening specials and were very happy we did! The pork special was phenomenal and ranked "in the top 5 meals Ive ever eaten" according to one of my friends. He placed it up there with Bobby Flays restaurant in Vegas in terms of quality. I had ordered the same thing and it was without a doubt the best pork Ive eaten. We have always been treated well here and have never had a bad dish. We look forward to going back again and again. Dont miss the tiramisu for dessert...delightful!

I had the good fortune of visiting this restaurant twice in the same day while visiting the Saratoga area recently. My husband our friend and I stopped by for a late lunch and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive and the wait for our order was minimal. We started off with a wonderful sicilian, and moved along to calamari arrabiata. The calamari...oh my! Amazing! I would definitely recommend it. Oh and the meatball sliders...divine! The ambiance was unhurried but efficient meaning we were able to sit and chat for a while but never felt we were waiting too long for anything. We enjoyed lunch so much, we decided to walk around town a bit and come back for dinner. Dinner was just as great as, if not better than, lunch had been. I had the pork chop with mixed salad and my husband, the skirt steak, of course sharing bites with each other =) and both entrees were incredible! And I cant forget to mention our desserts, a flourless chocolate cake that...well, let me just say Im not normally a chocolate lover but this cake converted me. And the tiramisu and cheesecake! I couldnt have asked for a better day and cant wait to visit Nove once more.

Ok so we have had several bad experiences here, because we live close by and this dump is easy to go too (actually its nice inside)... this is the typical evening though... food average at best, service, poor as always, drinks crazy expensive, then crazy up charges This time ordered my chicken Fran over pasta, no veggies or potatoes ... explained in advance, that I want this substitution at no charge otherwise keep it as on the menu.... took my time and explained that to Sarah ... Sure no problem she said ... food came was ok at best, but we enjoyed ourselves regardless of taste ... But then the check came, she charged me 6.00 extra for the pasta ...then argued with me she warned us that is the way it was, and basically told me to go F myself .. actually argued with us both ..... but being so kind she would get me the potato and veggie to go ... LMAO ...well she NEVER said anything of the sort ..... and I promise its the last time we go back .... thankfully we are in the people business, and I look forward to telling everyone I know how aweful this place was ..... again DO NOT GO HERE ....

I wish I could review the food selection, and i was looking forward to trying their pizza. However, the front staff clearly did not know what they were doing. We made reservations, arrived promptly, and were told our table was being set. That was their explanation the three consecutive times we asked about our table over a 40 minute time period. During that time, three other parties of the same size (3) that were on a non reservations list were seated before us and the couple that was waiting before we arrived were still waiting as well. The mature lady at the desk could not even look at me, and the young ladies seemed shocked when I told them to cancel my reservation we were leaving. I dont have patience for poor customer service and blatant favoritism. I have lived in saratoga for most of my life and so i am used to the busy summer season. I most likely will not come back, and even wonder if they will be able to survive the winter season with this type of service.

We had dinner at Noves Restaurant in Wilton, NY last evening. In all of the many years that I have vacationed in the Saratoga Springs area, I have never had a bad meal. Until, that is, last night. To be fair, the interior is upscale and the linens and table settings are attractive. Unfortunately, the food and waitstaff are not up to par. I ordered the Gnocchi with veal sauce. The gnocchis were dense and the sauce was gamey tasting. The veal was in small chunks and chewy. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were good: tender and flavorful, however, the sauce tasted like it was from a jar. The waitstaff needs training. Although the waitress was pleasant, she returned to take our plates without asking if we were finished. I have never been to a restaurant where the waitstaff starts taking the bread basket and plates off the table while I was still eating! Very disappointing. Rating 2 out of 10!

Went here for the first time on a date with my daughter (age 7). It was not very busy for a Friday evening and we were sat right away. My daughter was given lots of extra attention. The food was good and reasonably priced-as nice Italian restaurants go. We started with a Caesar salad which was on point, especially if, like us, you love the taste of pepper, because it was loaded with fresh black pepper. If you dislike pepper, youve been warned. Dinner was pretty good, too, I had eggplant parm, which was served with broccoli and potatoes rather than pasta, but I enjoyed it and my daughter had a childrens pizza. Both very too big and we got Saturdays lunch out of it. We didnt try any dessert, and the Caesar salad was my favorite part of the meal.

My family and I stopped by last weekend after a loooong drive from NYC to Saratoga, and were delighted by the new look and menu at Nove (we were frequent fliers at Sergios, so naturally we were a little skeptical!). My 5-year-old had the spaghetti and meatballs and my husband and I split a pizza, starting with the calamari arrabiata and a couple of salads. We loved Sergios and Nove didnt disappoint. AWESOME!!! Everything was so delicious, so fresh. And our waiter could not have been more gracious or more efficient. We (especially my son) cant wait to go back. It was such fun after a real drag of a drive...! Highly recommended. Great family place. See you there!

Best pizza I have ever had in my life. I tried a Margarita 12" Brick Oven Pizza from Nové Italian Restaurant today and it was hands down amazing. Excellent flavor, super fresh ingredients.. just awesome. Considering the fact that Im quite the pizza-snob, its good to know there is top-notch pizza available in Saratoga. But what do you expect, the owner is from Naples Italy and prides himself on the art of preparing authentic, traditional Italian food. They also make a Sicilian Pizza, Neapolitan Pizza and Grandma Pizza which I have not tried yet but look forward to having in the near future. Definitely give this restaurant a try next time youre in Saratoga.
