This place is pretty amazing and very easy to take for granted. The staff is very friendly, and not just because they recognize us after dozens of trips for pizza and dinner. The food is pretty damn good. Best plain slice Ive had in a long time and Im a huge fan of their broccoli rabe pizza. No, its not the cheapest place around, but its not that much more than every other place now that cheap pizza is thing of childhood memories. If this list of positive reviews isnt enough proof how much love Alitalia deserves, take note how theyre so busy they dont deliver. My only gripe, in addition to maybe dropping the prices a touch, is that they follow the trend of South Shore pizzerias in closing up after dinner time. I easily would have gone here frequently at 1 a.m. on a Saturday morning after a night out or 11 p.m. on a random weekday work keeps me late.

We have been going to Alitalia Restaurant for probably 18 years. We have overlooked the surly owner and his treatment of his staff and customers until his wrath was visited upon us tonight. The pizza is excellent but we warned unless you want to be verbally assaulted dont ask for anything to be reheated. The Soup Nazi from Seinfeld was Mother Theresa compared to this guy. Our weekly "date night" Wednesday ritual needs a new location. Well have to try Blaze Pizza which will open in the same shopping center. Maybe they will be better able to deal with loyal customers.

I am very dissatisfied with the food that I just purchased this evening. I order a chicken wrap with brown hair and I also order soggy bruschetta with stale bread. unfortunately this was a takeout order and by the time I got home and we noticed the dificiency was too late to turn around and come back and complain. I usually go there when the girls are behind the counter they are more pleasant to deal with these f****** a****** guys do all talk loud and want to be Italians are not nicely to deal with. That was my last trip to this place going someplace else.

4+ went there on a recommendation from someone local. Ordered the stuffed pizza. It was delicious. We were told that we would get a free tshirt if we ate it all. We didnt, but it made great leftovers since we ended up staying on Long Island longer than we thought we would. Service was kind of confusing, but they helped once they realized we were from out of state. We wished we had noticed the restaurant part in the back as we would have sat there and had more of a date feel. Next time! And there will be a next time!

Me and my family have been going there for years even when they were next to old navy all there pizza is amazing top ingredients and fresh you can taste the quality and the staff is fast friendly and clean oh and they have the BEST salad pie on all of LONG ISLAND dont beloved me go try you will be hooked now all they need to do IA make a blue NY giants pizza LOL

Really cant go wrong here. Whether your coming for Pizza or dining its a home run. Lot of options to choose from between specialty pizzas and I would probably prefer ordering a pasta or Italian dish here to most Italian restaurants. Its a well run family business that puts extra special love into what they do.

Have been coming here since iwas a child, over 25 years when it was in a different part of the shopping center. The biggest change I saw was when the owners were changed years ago, the quality hasnt been the same since. Overall it is still good bot it is not the amazing place it used to be.

My husband and I eat pizza at Alitalia every Sunday. They are the best pizzeria on Long Island hands down. They have a huge variety with extensive choices.The prices are reasonable and the service is great. What else could you ask for in a pizzeria? Alitalia is the BEST!!!!

Greatest Pizza around the area, fantastic brooklyn-style pizza, havent sat down in the dining room yet, but the Pizza has been outstanding about 95% of the time, and Ive been there well over a hundred times by now. Good folk, family-run operation.

Just look at it, 9 bucks for two special slices and a soda. Sauce tastes homemade and sweet, crust could be a bit crispier, but overall a great slice for the money
