Students from Bard take a regular shuttle up to Tivoli for a night on the village, but this lovely foodie place caters to anyone with a palette. The decor includes a wall of frames (no pictures) conveying an aura of fun and lightness. The tapas are clever and delicious, even when simple, such as the patatas bravas, but be sure to try the "jamon de pato" (ham-cured duck breast). They also offer "small-ish" plates, such as crispy artichokes (try it!). Among the main courses, they do a superb job with the chicken breast, and are very accommodating to those of us with some dietary restriction. #15bday

Happened to dine at Panzur during a quick trip upstate to Tivoli NY. Everything we ordered was outstanding. We shared the artichoke, pork belly, octopus and tuna and we loved the food so much were definitely going back! Shared sweetcorn icecream over meringue with fresh blueberries for dessert. It sounded odd at first but it was surprisingly amazing.

For one who travels and dines out 220 days per year, Panzur is one of my favorite places in the US. Rei is a brilliant chef, full stop! With his wife Kim and their amicable staff they provide a delightful, genuine and unique dining experience!

Down to earth non-pretentious nice clean restaurant. Tasty cocktails. Fabulous bread although price of it was high when I asked extra 2 loafs to take home. Octapos with bell pepper was excellent. Highly recommended.
