It was heartbreaking to realize that this little local gem was shutting down for a few weeks for renovations, however they came back with a bang! The decor is a playful blend of art and creativity. (Check out the cheese graters that also serve as light fixtures.) Okay, enough about how cute it is and onto how good it is! The must haves: 1) BLT - they cook their thick bacon in maple syrup! Wow! 2) Veggie Burger - I know what youre thinking, but theres nothing really healthy about it. Just pure deliciousness with a little bit less guilt. 3) Scrambled Florentine Tartine - these ingredients would melt anyones heart. Im a fan of their new Light Menu and hope some version of it sticks around. Their salads are also really large and fresh! Overall Im delighted to have such a cool and yummy hot spot in RVC.

Came here several times hoping to really like the place. Found it to be overpriced and overhyped. $12 omelette that is cold on arrival 20 minutes after order and doesnt come with a slice of bread. Served on an aluminum tray lined with a piece of paper. I cant think of a more uncomfortable and counterproductive way to serve food to the customers. Aluminum is great heat conductor. Slap hot food on it and it will turn tepid in a few minutes. Cherry on top of the cake - no fresh (backed that morning) croissants at a place that calls itself a bakery. Crummy and vary noisy location as well without good parking options aside from a few meters off a very busy highway. Not going to be back.

Very quaint and simple place. Food is very good but if in a rush call for takeout. If you catch it at the right time a table for 2 may be quick but 4 or more you may have to wait 10 to 15 minute because you have to grab the 1st table available and wait for the adjoining to free up but its worth the wait considering by the time you drive and wait somewhere else, youll probably be eating. Pancakes, bacon and French Toast are amazing and very good Iced Coffee.

Saw this cute little bakery recently and decided to stop in to give them a try. The shop itself was decorated simple but cute. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The featured drink seemed to be coffee which I am not a fan of so I tried there pastry. I chose to try their apple cobbler which was really good. Ill definitely return again in the future to try some of their other items

The Flour Shoppe has the best latte Ive ever had! Everything from the food to the service to the bathrooms isnt just as good as you hoped, its better. Standouts are the dulce latte, egg Florentine, banana crumb pancakes, quiche Lorraine and pecan pie, but I keep finding more things to love with every new dish I try. The kind of place that develops a cult following.

Great little spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Banana crumb pancakes one of best! Sausage, biscuit and gravy was very good except the taste of fennel was bit too overriding. One of the best cups of coffee ever had! Definitely will be returning to try some other items.

The menu here is great for brunch, although a bit on the sweeter side. The ordering is also more in the southern style, in which you order from the counter and seat yourselves. Then a server will bring your food to the table.

The coffee was good, but dont order anything other than eggs. Their turkey sausage tasted like microwave sandwiches and only offered juice from concentrate. I wouldnt have ordered orange juice if I knew it was in a bottle.

A very cool spot for breakfast or baked goods and coffee, I would never have known it existed if we hadnt spotted it on Yelp! Its not in RVC Center, but a little bit removed from it. Ill definitely be returning.
