I had a very bad experience with this place. We came in for the first time on a date, the staff was not very friendly and not very pleasant to talk to. Im giving them three stars because my bf enjoyed his meal for the most part and we were served in a decently timely manner though the restaurant was busy. However, the dish that I got was wayyy too hot (spicey) and the server did not let us know that it was going to be that bad. I have had the same dish at other restaurants. We brought it home after one bite, I treated it with extra sauce and sour cream and almost remaid it and it was still burning all the way down. This is coming from someone who really enjoys her spice. When I tried to talk to the server about it she didnt offer much help and we paid 27 dollars for a meal that neither I nor my bf could even eat. There was no indication on the menu either. The appetizer (artichoke French) was great, coffee was cold and they didnt offer to refil anything (including water or even bread dish oil.) She also took our plates before we were done with them and didnt bother to ask! All that into account, its always worth a try and if you love spicey food get their seafood fra diavialo.

I took my girlfriend here on the Sunday night following Christmas 2015. I had never eaten here before, but read positive things about it online so decided to give it a try based on peoples recommendation. I was not disappointed. First, the atmosphere is great. While it doesnt look like much from the outside, tucked unassumingly into a small strip mall/plaza at the corner of Exchange Blvd and South Plymouth Ave, the inside is quaint, cozy and dimply lit, making it an ideal place for a date. The food was also exceptional, and as good as Italian food gets in Rochester. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with rigatoni, both of which were cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are adequate, and for a reasonable price. Our waitress was pleasant, and the food was delivered to our table in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an Italian restaurant that features good food coupled with an inviting atmosphere. I would definitely go back again.

Ate at this little Italian restaurant near downtown Rochester. The eggplant parmigiana and the pesto gnocchi were very good. Instead of balsamic and olive oil (as is typical in northern California) for the bread they give you grated Parmesan cheese with olive oil to dip with warm bread. Never seen that before. Perfect for a chilly, late fall Rochester evening. And good service! I took one star off because they did not have local beers and not much USA (Californian) wines. And also because the portions are big enough for 2.5 people, i.e. un-healthily big.

A great little neighborhood-style Italian restaurant. The food is consistently tasty and the portions are generous (but not obnoxious). The chicken parm and a Panzaris salad is my fallback when I dont have the time to make dinner at home, and the chicken french is out of this world. Staff is very friendly and knows their menu. Always helpful in answering questions and honest opinions of the dishes. Prices seem a little high, but I dont mind paying them.

Ive have been here twice and loved it. Very friendly staff, and excellent food. Be sure to make reservations for larger parties, or to make sure youre seated quickly. Wait times to be seated is about the only problem Ive had so far, and thats due to the size of the restaurant itself (Its pretty small, and gets very busy). However, the food is well worth the wait. Im absolutely sure Ill come here again in the future.

Literally just from this place, i had a take out order. The guy host who took my order and money was rude and very unprofessional... He didnt even say hello to me, he gave me back my money on the counter, he didnt give me any silverware, No napkins.. Nothing. He was very nasty to me. The food on the other hand was delicious! I will go back again the but that guy can not assist me...

Great customer service (went above and beyond, even took pic with us), fantastic appetizers (crab cakes and calimari) and dinner (tons of food for each plate ordered, enough for lunch next day), delicious dessert (cannolis and espresso) and wine (many different countries)... All in all definitely a great place to go for the most all around night out you could ask for

Much as everyone below has commented, the food is fantastic. We were glad to see that they had an outdoor seating area as well. My wife and I werent familiar with the area, and we were pleased to discover a walking trail along the canal just across the street. --Back to the restaurant. Great menu, our meals were amazing. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

Very disappointed. Limited menu, so / so service. Egg Plant Parm stringy and tuff. Meat Balls were - well I guess I dont know what they were. Coffee was cold asked for a warm up and it was cold. The only reason I gave it two stars was for the outdoor patio. Sorry Panzaris you got a long way to go to get me back.

I found them on GrubHub, and just called to place an order for delivery at which point I was told this restaurant does not deliver. The menu looks so amazing but the misinformation online is a mood killer. But then Im reading all these reviews about their fast delivery and great service?

Delicious food, friendly service, good prices considering the generous portions. The atmosphere is very nice as well! If I had to find a criticism, it would be that theyre one of the places that puts paper on the tables. I guess its convenient, but I prefer dining on tablecloths.

Not so great this time, service was slow and prices have been jacked up. Been coming here on and off since they opened. Notice them gradually going down hill, been very spotty, $18.00 for a standard small Friday fish fry a little stiff. Might be a while before we come back.

Food was very good but staff wasnt attentive enough. White table cloths were dirty even though theyre covered with a paper sheet. Would recommend they offer panini menu for dinner. Ok place but not my first choice for Italian.

Great service and awesome food. Chicken parmesan was very tasty, good crust and cheese. Served with noodles although I prefer spaghetti, still very good. One of the few places open after the storm.

I have probably eaten there no less than a dozen times in the last year or two and the food is consistently good and high quality. Great haddock french, good bread, nice salad. Reasonable prices.

Went with a small group of friends- everyone loved their meal including myself. Different options than the standard italian resturant. Make sure to have a reservation.
