We were greeted by a delightful host and wonderful waitstaff. For my first time experience, I was very impressed. I had the lasagna and it was amazing- probably the best lasagna I have ever had anywhere. The host made sure to tell us everything was made from scratch, which it certainly seemed that way. The prices did go up a little higher from the dishes we chose, but with what we chose, I would have no problem shelling out a little extra to have an amazing dish... The atmosphere inside offers an intimate setting with a richness you dont find in very many places in Hanover County- especially in its (sort of deceiving location of a mini strip mall). You are surprised when you walk in the door and see the dark wood trims and elegant glasswork.... I cant wait to go back and take friends! Bypass the chains like Olive Garden and Maggianos.... Pasta House is all you need!

I had dinner there and it was the worst experience and I will never go back. I asked for lasagna and it looked like I had 1 layer of cheese, one layer of noodles and one layer of sauce. I have had lasagna plenty of times and even had a aunt from New York that made it from scratch and she never served me anything that looked like what I got on Saturaday night. I had to ask for bread several times, and when I did receive my bread it was not fresh. Serveral people in my party did not receive their meal, and when it was brought to the servers attention they ran out of food. So I finally sent my lasagna back and got Chicken Alfredo. It was warm and eventually cold. I was leaving out the front door and notice there was an odor that smelled like a dead animal was near. I will never step foot in this restaurant again.....

Its a good place to go if you havent been there. Definitely more of an Italian restaurant than the typical pasta/pizza place. Interior is nicer than you would expect from looking at the outside. I have never had a bad meal here, but I always want it to be better than it turns out to be. The service is mediocre, but never poor. This wont become your favorite place but it is worth going there to add some variety to your dining out. Overall, slightly above average yet not impressive.

I ate here twice about a year ago and it was really very good. Just went again and the food was not good. Ordered what was supposed to be a filet of sole with mushrooms and lemon/wine sauce. Tehy brought out what looked a frozen breaded fish filet and dumped the sauce on it. Made for a gooey mess. I think they chnaged cooks or are starting to sacrifice quality.

Small & unassuming from the outside, but friendly, warm & intimate inside. Great for families or cozy dates. Seafood dishes are fresh & wonderful. Some might think its a little pricey, but the portions are nice & the service is great! Just stop by & give a chance. We think of it as our "hidden gem".

Easily the best Italian restaurant in Mechanicsville. Authentic meals, good pricing, good service. The location in a strip mall makes it appear run down. One of my favorite Italian restaurants around and one of the few places that approaches the quality of food I experienced when in Italy.

I usually only grab to-go orders. But the red clam sauce over linguini is out of this world. I ask for them to make it spicy. Its one of the best clam sauces I have ever had. I would definitely recommend that. My brother loves the chicken marsala. All is pricey, but well worth it.

Had the lunch special stuffed shells and salad. Fast, friendly service. I am so full. Good size salad, sourdough bread, FOUR stuffed shells smothered in wonderful meat sauce. Just WOW. Has to be the best lunch special in Mechanicsville. Ten bucks....oh, yes. I will be back.

An excellent authentic Italian dining experience. The staff is super friendly and the food is great. The prices leave a little to be desired, theyre up there with finer dining venues, and the portions can be tad meager for what youre paying, but youll love what you get.

Been there scores of times; my favorite restaurant in Mechanicsville, and I live there. I recommend the Eggplant Parmesan (called Melanzane A Lla Pomodoro on the menu) and the Seafood Bianco (scallops and shrimp in a great butter/garlic sauce with mushrooms).

Everything was excellent, from staff to atmosphere to plate and food. We got the Shrimp Napoli and Baked Ziti, and would get them again. We split the Ziti entree and they actually prepared it on two separate plates! Will be back next time Im passing thru.

Dont like writing bad reviews but they just messed up my lunch order and the only thing I got from them was "sorry", no attempt to make it right! I spent too much money for a messed up sandwich when I could have went to wawa for better and cheaper!

Stopped by for some appetizers had the scampi fra diavolo and the calmari. Both were excellent the scampi was spicy which we loved service was excellent. It was nice to see that the parking lot was paved!

Service & Staff were wonderful but the 4 Cheese Steak Subs were basically just a Subroll, no Cheese and hardly anything else, the fries were very cold & hard, I feel like I threw away $39.00

Good food but way overpriced, the tableclothes make you feel like you shoud pay more (and you do). Service is below par for the prices Giovannis Pizza or Romas is a much better value
