I live right around the corner from here and family has been going here for more than 20 years!!!! Weve never gotten a bad meal. The new changes made to the place make it much roomier and cleaner, although Im not too much a fan of the colorful lights. I always get the gyro for lunch and eggs for breakfast, the gyro never being too salty. The burgers are huge and the ketchup bottles are always filled. The freshly baked pastries are always nice to have for dessert, but I have had better. Best dinner in the New Hyde Park, floral park, great neck area.

This was my third time at the diner. They have renovated the diner. New look is great. All the other times I had breakfast which was sumptuous and tasty. This time I had lunch. The beef bits oreganata was amazing. The beef seemed slowly cooked, it was tender and flavorful. I kept eating and eating. It was topped with a mushroom gravy which was yummylicious. I took a full luncheon on Wednesday. The chicken noodle soup was a little watery but the rice pudding was heavenly. It had the right balance of cinnamon and cream.

This diner was newly renovated. But service is beyond terrible. Waited 35 minutes for eggs benedict, so we complained to the waitress, who never explained what was going on, that there was a problem in the kitchen. She said, "2 more minutes" , but it was not two more minutes. The diner was practically empty and everyone was getting their food way before us and came in way later than we did. We ended up leaving, after we complained to management, and they truly didnt care. Never again.

New renovation but thats where it ends... Extremely slow service, food was barely palatable , above average diner prices. Complained to management that it took over 1 hour to prepare entrees for 4 guests and he basically laughed and did nothing. Dont waste your to time.

This was just completely re-done and it looks great! The food is very good and the servers are quick and friendly. We went for fathers day as a group of 11 with 7 kids. Our server was on top of each request and the food all came out together, hot, and very good.

Service on New Years morning was terrible. They should expect a big crowd and they werent ready. They put people on a list to wait for seating and they dont even go by the list. Food was cold and took forever to get to the table... Not happy

Absolutely my favorite place to get breakfast. If youre lucky enough to sit in Tommys section youll be treated like royalty! The rest of the staff is just as top notch! Just moved back to NY and Omega reminds me of what I was missing!

I used to work at The Skyline Diner not too far from the Omega actually, i worked there back in the year 2002, it was great then with Mario Hernandez and the gang, i sure wish those days could return again.
