As for diners, this long standing restaurant has served hungry customers for decades. While not a gourmet destination, not a romantic place, sometimes a person just wants a simple meal without a lot of fuss. The servers are pleasant and helpful and the food is prepared with care. I enjoy their home made corned beef hash, made from scratch! Not many places offer such a well made favorite breakfast side.

Great little diner in the downtown area, and get easy to get to and from 95. Great diner food (except who puts the dressing on the side of a Ruben?) and excellent service. There was only one server for everyone, but it was pretty quiet and no issues. Were definitely stopping by next time we drive through, and well make sure to try out the fantastic - looking desserts!

Stopped by for breakfast and am thrilled that I did. Nicole and her dad ( proprietors) run a fabulous operation with a "down home" feel. Very friendly service from start to finish. My meal was delicious and exactly what I was after with just right portions. I do not live in Greenwich however if I did, this would be my regular stop.

My friends and I had such a great time here! The food was so healthy and delicious, and the people working here were so friendly and accommodating! There were so many good choices on the menu, I couldnt decide what to get! The atmosphere is very warm and cozy, Ill definitely be back!!!

They were super rude first of all the waitress was not checking on us and was getting mad at us and the manager well my mom told him the fish wasnt cooked so he said I just talked to the chef and he said the fish was cooked so your wrong and walked away

Putnam is my favorite place to eat in Greenwich! The food is so good and the environment is fantastic. The owners take such good care of their customers and its a great place for families or for a quick bite in the morning.

Grabbed a chocolate shake, grilled cheese and fries. Tip: ask for hot sauce and also throw a few strips of bacon on whatever you order. Bacon and waffles/pancakes may be the new hot trend on the Ave.

I have never had a bad experience at Putnam! The service is excellent, the prices are incredibly reasonable and never have disappointed my family in I incredible presentation and flavors!!!!

The buffalo wings were good. Fries and sweet potato were great. Grilled cheese was perfect. Cajun chicken, avocado and swiss pita sandwich was delicious. The pickle was great too.

Really cheap food on the avenue is hard to find, but they have it here. It may not be gourmet but you can get a sandwich and fries for less than $10.
