Horrible place to order from. Overpriced, bad service, rude staff! I was trying to order a breakfast combo one morning that included coffee. They refused to give me the coffee because I was not going to sit down and have it there, even though nothing on the menu said coffee was only served to those that sit and eat at the diner. Coffee to go should be included like coffee to stay. I found this ridiculous because I work next door to the place and its just COFFEE!! They werent even going to deliver, I would have gone to pick it up. I WILL NEVER AGAIN ORDER OR EAT AT THE PORT WASHINGTON DINER EVER AGAIN!!

We met my niece, who works in the area, for lunch yesterday, it was delicious. . Two of us had burgers deluxe, one ordered an omelette, and my husband had a bowl of seafood bisque, I tasted that OMG it was Yummy! He got the chicken wings appetizer as his entree, only 6 wings, but was adequate. . The place was packed, but after being seated, the the service was quick and friendly. it was approx $60 plus tip. . not cheap, but not too pricey either. I would definately eat here again... :)

There were 4 rude, disrespectful f***ing kids that ruined my meal. They insulted my family and management did absolutely nothing about it- the manager barely apologized or even spoke about it! I will never go back to that diner again- the food was meh- the service was good but the fact that this issue was completely unresolved is unacceptable. Dont go to this diner-why would you ever support such a careless horrible establishment

The atmosphere was nice, but let me tell you something, the food was not cooked to how I requested it & the waitress didnt seem to give an once of showing any type of care towards her customers. She would disappear for a good 30 minutes & be upset that we would complain that she had burned my toast & brought my chocolate milk when I requested orange juice. Never coming here again. The owner needs to train his staff better.

Ive been coming here for 9 years now. The staff is really nice and they talk to you. Their food is tasty and has flavor. If anyone was being rude it wouldve been my baby nephew who would throw a tantrum. Ive never had a problem with ordering or anything else. no one is gonna talk about this but I know youre thinking about it. Yes. Their bathrooms are clean

Dont ever buy a certificate from here. I was given one and when I tried to use it for a take out, I was told it could only be used for eat-in. No where on the certificate did it say that and besides, some one gave them cash for it therefore it should be the same as cash. This place is a rip-off.

Food was hot fresh. staff is cleanly and respectful and helpful. Its a local hotspot. I ordered the italian omelette and that comes with bread and hashbrowns. Everything tasted good. In total spent 16.20. There is free 90 min parking available behind the restaurant.
