After reading reviews we decided to give Killabrew a try for lunch. Restaurant appeared clean and waitress was friendly but being only waitress the service was understandably slow. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. They used thick sliced pickles which made for a mushy texture and an absolutely awful dipping sauce. We rated it a D. Then the homemade mac and cheese got a B- do to shell pasta improperly cooked (some shells were inside others and were undercooked). However the cheese sauce wasnt bad. Prime rib Panini of the day was fatty and the AuJus was greasy. Fries were acceptable. Daughters Reuben came with a hair under the sandwich which ruined her appetite and caused some gagging at the table. We collectively agreed we will never return to this establishment. Gave it 4 thumbs down.

I reviewed this place a year ago with better results, sadly after the last two times our experience has been less than mediocre. Sitting at the bar in front of staff lucky to get service because the bar staff is too busy socializing with their friends. Friday evening long after the dinner crowd around 8p, we waited over an hour for our fish. Sad, this was our second attempt in a month for them to regain our patronage the same thing happened the first time. If you arent local, or the bar staff doesnt know you, good luck getting good service.

When I used to work for K-Rock and went to school at SunyIT, I used to frequent Killabrew as often as possible. The everything wings are absolutely incredible, and the staff is always friendly. My wife and I moved to Minnesota last year, and Ive found myself really missing the everything wings. When we come back to Syracuse next year for a visit, you can bet that well be making a stop at Killabrew.

Some friends and I walked in on a Saturday night, and we were carded three times in the span of 10 mins. Once at the door, which is standard at every bar. Once more when we sat down at a table and one final time when we ordered our beers. To compound the bewildering experience, they goofed up our order from the kitchen and our shot of patron didnt taste right. First impression, not good.

Great food, decent selections but severely understaffed. There was one waiter/server/bartender, literally one person filling all those job roles. When food was FINALLY ordered it was prompt though. With a bar with a bigger rep around here you think it would be a little more appropriatly staffed.

Usually packed. Other than that great atmosphere. I highly recommend the Rub-eye steak sandwich. Also the five beer four leaf clover flight. Also had live music on the Thursday I went. Best last night out with a group of friends I could have asked for.

THE WINGS. Seriously. If youve ever spent time in upstate/central/western NY you need to get the wings. The everything wings in particular are ridiculously magical. And if that werent enough the bartenders are knowledgeable and down to earth.

A selection of craft beer on tap and really good wings, I am a fan of the everything wings. Thursday is a popular nights for wing specials making for a cramped parking lot. You can usually watch a game on one of the televisions.
