Atmosphere: B It was very nice, great location. If youre up there make sure to take a walk around, its a very nice area. Inside the restaurant its also very nice. You can choose from indoor or outdoor seating and both seem comfortable. When we went for fathers day they had an open mic night. It was fun to listen to the live music but the stage is only visible from the bar area.. half the restaurant cant see the band/singer! Food: C Very fresh produce, which was nice but the food isnt all there... My husband got the filet minion and he said it was a bit fatty, but the vegitables were prepared nicely. I got the Duck entrée (it was a special night so we decided to be fancy-pantsed). It was nicely cooked but was missing the foie gras mousse that the menu said Id be getting. I was pretty disappointed by that since I am a fan of liver and was excited to have that little addition to my plate....not to mention that I paid for it. We also got the calamari which was WONDERFULLY prepared -not tough or greasy at all, and the mediterranean plate which has hummus olive tapenade carrots and pita (which I thought was quite overpriced at $10 for the small amount you got ...the ingredients are not expensive and its easy to make so the price was a bit annoying). The desserts left MUCH to be desired but oh well... My dessert also had the same issue as my dinner, it was missing two ingredients (berries and walnuts)! Either way we enjoyed the food. Service: A+ Service was great! Very nice waitress. Beer: C I cant drink (Im pregnant) but my husband said the beer was somewhat mediocre. I gave them a "C" though because they brew their own and if you like triumph beer you will like their selection...obviously.. Overall we most likely wont be going back. We wont discourage people from going though. With a fun atmosphere and a tasty looking pub menu (they have a great casual menu which Id suggest getting instead of the fancy stuff) its a nice place to visit and hang out. Also, they have 2 pool tables.

Just went there tonight. The server was great. We had a reservation for 11. There were three hostess at the door, who seemed to have no idea what they were doing. One took charge after a girl stared at a computer screen like she didnt have a clue. She walked us over to the table with no menus. We sat there for 15 minutes and noone came over. Im pretty sure the nimwits at the front didnt tell the server we were there. Someone with us got up and got the menus, so we could look. I thought they only gave us half of the menu. It was small and overpriced. Seemed like they were trying to be a little too artsy. Apps were great, they were half priced, which was basically fair price for the size. We got the most regular food. $18 burgers ( with add ons). Two of the meals were sent back. The bratwurst and the fish and chips. The bratwurst was white and wierd and the fish and Chips ( cod wasnt cooked it was grey and rubbery. We didnt order anything in replace of it...kind of turned off after that. Not once did a manager come out to apologize. Two people in our party left hungry. The only good thing was the food server. Made good recommendation s as to what to stay away from. Shes the only reason I give 1 star. Dont recommend this place soley based on food and price. Need to rethink the menu and get a cooking staff that can cook. Let me know when that happens and well gladly return!

We came here twice during our trip - once for lunch, and once late night. Along with food, they have a full bar, although for beer they only serve their own (understandably). We tried quite a bit of the food since we ended up here twice. For appetizers, we tried the pretzels and the nachos. For main entrees, my girlfriend got the tofu and I got the bratwurst. We both really liked the appetizers, and I was happy with my entree. My girlfriend felt that the tofu was a bit odd in its flavor combinations of sweet and spicy. As for drinks, I got the sampler so I was able to try all of their current offerings. This was definitely a good deal at $15 for 8 5oz pours. They werent bad by any stretch, but they werent outstanding either. My favorites were their Amarillo IPA and their Amber Ale. If you want to go for something unique, give their smoked beer a try if they have it on tap - Rauchbier. My girlfriend had wine and an espresso martini, which she said was done well. The waiter and bartenders that we had were friendly and attentive. There are two pool tables and a dartboard here which definitely make a nice addition (something I wish every bar had!). They also had live music both for lunch and late night when we were there. Parking in the lot out front is generally easy to find and cheap. All in all, I like the place and I know Ill make a stop here on my next visit to New Hope.

Ive been in this place a few times. In January, last, New Hope and Lambertville celebrated their Winter Festival. IT WAS COLD!! Fifteen degrees. Because of the cold weather, I practically lived, here. Too cold to go anyplace else! The place is Hit or Miss. Depends on the wait staff. Theyre young, mostly, and full of themselves. The beer is quite good, and available for takeout via a "growler." Im here, now, for the Fourth of July Weekend. Its no longer fifteen degrees. Its been over 100, the whole week, thanks to a Heat Wave. It finally broke, today. It rained, today, as a matter of fact. YAY!!! The bad news IS, I stopped-in, for a few beers, today, and a growler, to go. The bartender refused to acknowledge that I was even there. The bartender was TOO BUSY playing the ubiquitous trivia game, and chatting away with another customer. I pulled some rather large bills (hundreds and 50s) out of my wallet, to purchase a growler, but the in-attentive bartender ignored me. So, I threw down a hundred per cent tip (which the bartender in no way, shape or form deserved!), and left the premises. As I was leaving, though, the other customer thanked me, while the bartender was totally oblivious. I WONT BE BACK!!!

My husband and I stopped here for dinner yesterday. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, despite the fact that she seemed a little stressed and at one point had a complaint to deal with. Those two stars are for her. The food was absolutely gross and overpriced. We ordered the calamari appetizer and Im pretty sure it was made from frozen. The concept was good, but it was so coated with red pepper flake as to be almost inedibly hot. It was served with about two tablespoons of marinara sauce. For my entree, I ordered the fish and chips, which I believe was $18. My plate consisted of 4 fried fish portions, most of which was batter. It was so greasy it oozed when I cut into it, hardly any presence of fish at all. The fries were also pityful: a reasonable portion for a normal human being, but they looked like they had been taken from a fryer about 100 degrees too cold: greasy, floppy, and mostly broken pieces. Again, this was $18. I have no problem paying a fair price for great food, but this was *not* great food.
