The people here are Soooooooo nice! We were there for Sunday brunch, on our way to Catskill Animal Sanctuary, and the counter staff (Hi Olivia!!!!!) helped me find vegan options. They had tons of good suggestions, strong coffee and they keep their alternative milks at the counter (unlike some places where you have to beg for a splash of soy). Their raspberry jam is house made and so delicious that we begged to buy some - it wasnt for sale, but they gave us some to take home and its unbelievably good! The bread is amazing, the vegan cakes were amazing and the service is stellar! Definitely coming back!

Service was awful. I was there with a party of three. As our food comes out, one by one mins apart my order was wrong and missing toppings I ordered. No utensils were given or offered. On top of that our bill was just under $50. All in all service was bad food portions were small and over priced. I rated one star for cleanliness I wouldve put no star at all. Stay away from this establishment. Leave bread alone alone.

Had the gruyere grilled cheese. It comes with onions and a small salad for $8.00. The bread, no surprise, was excellent, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. One of the best grilled cheese sandwiches Ive ever tasted. Grabbed a chocolate brownie for dessert. Very light, but with a strong chocolate flavor, and just moist enough to eat without milk. This is a great cafe.

We love Bread Alone. We live in Brooklyn during the week and in Lake Katrine on the weekends so we are able to get your breads in both the city at the better supermarkets and the farmers markets and when we are upstate. Your coffee is delicious and your breads, pastries and meal offerings are wonderful. The Lake Katrine cafe is beautiful.

Love this place. Great that the company expanded into a property that already existed, a vacant factory was refurbished into a great bakery and restaurant space. The food is consistently excellent and the staff are ace.

Excellent bread and friendly staff. I would recommend trying the grilled cheese or any of the pastries. Prices are a bit high but its what could be expected for good quality food.
