Really disappointed with the service today. There was one employee who did something so disrespectful towards me that I cant even mention it in the review. It was a horrible thing to do to anyone, and this was during the towns Chocolate Festival which is held to promote business for the day. A business should not be open on this particular day or at all if it treats customers in this fashion. There was one person working today who was nice. It seemed that most of the rest of the employees were unwelcoming and immature. I had their food a year or two ago, I wasnt too impressed overall. I remember some of the beer being pretty good. The ambiance of the venue is good, but really not impressed with most of the staff. Sorry I wont be coming to your establishment again.

Horrible service, horrible music, over priced food, & juvenile staff members. Do not recommend it. Not worth the waste of time & money. The food is sub-par, & the staff is rude when you try to tell them about it. The drink menu is limited (especially for the region) & over priced. The live music is so loud you have to yell to have a conversation, & they refuse to turn it down. They have to use things like the all you can eat pizza & the live music to keep people coming back. Its a bar, trying to pretend to be some fancy upscale establishment. They are a college town bar, acting like some elite social club.

My husband and I go there to relax and enjoy the music, atmosphere, rotating local artists work lining the walls, awesome pizza and cheeses and vegetables always satisfy. The beer selection isnt huge but its a good range, alot of local brews. The staff, from kitchen to front of house are friendly and knowledgeable. Its always clean , has a good sized television over the bar with sports on. They changed their name, and are no longer baking their bread but we will still continue to enjoy everything the Black Star Social has to offer. Red Hook is very lucky to have this business.

Bread and Bottle is a breath of fresh air in Red Hook. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly wait staff, clean, comfortable. I visit several times per month with my wife and keep going back for their excellent salads, pizza, breads, cheeses, appetizers, etc. Their entertainment is always great. Red Hook is lucky to have this wonderful, relaxing bar and charcuterie.

I love the Bread and Bottle. The music is always really enjoyable. The food is nice. I love the appetizer platters where you can pick your own meat, cheeze bread etc. Pizza is pretty good too. The bartender is always super nice and generous with his wine pourings. Its a nice neighborhood place to hear some great music and relax.

All you can eat pizza night for $10. Selection of three different pizzas, personal size.. Order as many as you can eat. Trendy selections. Nice bar.
