Im not even kidding if I could give this place something lower than 1 star, I would. Im not joking. The guy was by far one of the nastiest people Ive ever spoken to in my life. Beyond horrible. I called and said "I read online you close at 10:30 so Im calling to make sure it be okay if I came now(9:54). He goes we close at 10. I said would I be able to come now Ill be there in 2 minutes. I live 2 minutes away it was 9:54. He was so nasty. He said whats a matter with you what you dont speak English. And said what dont I understand they close at 10. If thats how he treats customers I cant wait for them to close down. Btw has anyone in eastchester checked the working papers on the people there working?

Considering the Westchester ice cream situation (Carvel or Friendlys), I was thrilled to find a real, Italian gelato shop in Eastchester. I tried the caramel, hazelnut, and almond, all of which were quite good (despite the somewhat alarming blue color of the caramel). The strengths of Pane and Gelato are the traditional flavors - Nocciola, Mandorla, Cioccolato, Nutella, etc. Get a cone, not a cup, its a much more authentic experience. I didnt try any of the breads, but the gelato was flavorful and creamy - highly recommended.

I have only had Gelato a few times and this place by far is the best experience I have had. Everyone who I have brought here to try this wonderful treat raves about how smooth and creamy the gelato is at this small establishment. The owner Paulo is inviting and encourages tastings before deciding on a flavor. They also have a bakery section with various homemade Italian pastries that are made with love. They also offer many selections of imported Italian sodas and they have great cappuccinos, espresso, and coffee!

This place is absolutely disgusting and racist. I am an African American male and I must admit they have delicious Ice Cream. Unexpectedly, the woman there was nasty and blatantly racist. The first time I visited Gelatos the woman did not greet me and rushed me out the establishment. However, she happily attended to the white customers. On my second visit the same woman wasnt friendly once again. This place wont ever have to worry about my services EVER AGAIN!

My fiancé and I absolutely love this place. Her family is from Italy and she visits there every year. Pane e Gelato is as authentic as it gets! The atmosphere, the quality, the people ; all amazing. Weve search all over the tri-state area for a gelateria closer to us but theres just nothing like here. Well continue to make the drive from rockland county, over the tappan zee bridge just from a taste of the nocciola and spangolo gelato!

Good desserts and gelatos in Eastchester area. Surprisingly this is one of the few places open late in the area, most coffeeshops close very early around here, nice to be able to grab some desserts after dinner. Gelatos are decent though not inexpensive as are the Italian pastries. Can be somewhat busy on weekends. I personally like their pistachio gelato.

Felt like we were back in Italy. Delicious HOMEMADE gelato, HOMEMADE pastries, and authentic Italian espresso/cappuccinos. The couple that runs P&G are super friendly and welcoming. Well be back....sooner than later, especially since on our way out we saw they make fresh squeezed orange juice with what I believe are Sicilian oranges.

Was really happy to find this gem in Eastchester. The gelato was really good. Ill be back for sure. The have (free) parking in their lot and tables inside to sit and enjoy your gelato or pastry.
