I will never go to this dump again. I walked in pleasantly to place a group order only to be shouted at rudely by a 16 year old girl that she "couldnt take my order if I was on the phone!" (I was on then phone with my office having the order read to me) What do they think they are selling us ? Everyone in this place has their noses up like they are doing us a favor by reheating day old bagels and then microwaving them (if u want eggs on them) they literally have a wall of microwaves that they use to cook beacon egg n cheeses. what a joke. after being insulted by this girl I then proceeded to pay and just get out when I found out that they dont accept credit or debit cards. I mead really? im sure the owner pays this places rent with a check so what gives? to end this when I finally got back to my office with the order, the bagels were all toasted when half werent supposed to be. so much for paying attention to my order when I got off the phone. This place is a JOKE day old bagels messed up orders and rude people taking the orders. Ive seen this stuff in grand central station in NYC with thousands of people ordering but not in a nice small community of Hopewell. This place will NEVER EVER see another dime of my or my friends & familys money!

It may be true that Hopewell Hot Bagels has the best bagels in the area, but it comes at a price. If you like dealing with snot nose teenage girls with attitudes that dont stop go ahead and stop in for a bagel. If this is the sort of thing that aggrevates the living hell out of you stay far away. The young help in this place is way more interested in who their current boyfriend is cheating with, who their friends boyfriend is cheating with or any of the other trivial nonsense teens these days consume their time worrying about. This will impact the service you receive in the form of improperly prepared orders and attitudes when you ask that your order be corrected. The sad part of it all is its been this way as long as I can recall and nothing is ever done about it regardless of how often one complains to the management. I suppose they rely on the fact they have somewhat of a captive audience and as such dont feel it necessary to make sure youre serviced with respect.

If you think this place is "family friendly", youre dead WRONG! I went there one day, breastfeeding my baby in the sitting area, covered up. An employee told me not to do that because its supposed to be "family friendly". Im still angry over this. I will NEVER eat here again!

Stopped in for the first time to pick up a dozen plus cream cheese for my vets office. Very nice young girl prepared my order. Handed her my Visa. THEY DONT TAKE CREDIT CARDS! What? This is 2015 - get with the program. Had no cash, so I left the order on the counter.

Best bagels around :) They not skimpy with the creamcheese either. Try to get one of the older employees though cause they neater about the way they make your food. I hate geting creamcheese globs all over the sides of my bagel.

Still the benchmark for bagels in Dutchess county. Fresh, great variety. Jalapeño a favorite. Donuts also excellent. Cash only. Be prepared for a line out the door on weekend mornings
