My wife and I had our first meal here tonight. We ate early, around 5pm, and it was nice to see there were other guests there enjoying food as well. As two people who have lived the last 8 years outside if Houston Texas, where Mexican food is more popular than pizza, it was refreshing to see such a unique decor and ambiance in the restaurant. We were immediately greeted by a bar tender and we were promptly seated. The first encounter we had wad with a very pleasant young man who brought us chips and salsa. The is my first and really only complaint about this place. The salsa... well... lacked flavor. The ingredients all appeared fresh and tasted good, but it was missing something that at least I consider key to what salsa should taste like... but your mileage may vary. Now moving on, the server was excellent. She was attentive but not overbearing, and very prompt with everything from start to finish. I had the steak flautas and my wife had the chicken fajita quesadillas. Everything was brought to our table quickly and was HOT on arrival! The food was outstandingly good for Buffalo NY Mexican cuisine and really on par with some of our favorite places in Texas. The prices were very reasonable and combined with the quality of the service and the friendliness of everyone there, our experience really couldnt have been better. We won be returning and the next time we plan on getting the guacamole and see how that is!

No, Im not a fan of Taco Bell (yuk), but I AM married to a Texan and am very fond of Tex MEX and I think I know a thing or two about Mexican food. This place doesnt claim to be "authentic" Mexican but rather the owners interpretation and creative offerings with his own spin on Mexican cuisine. Most Americans probably wouldnt like "Real Authentic" Mexican food anyway since most of what we eat in the US is Tex Mex. Anyway, We were blown away by the quality of the ingredients, freshness and creativity of our dinners, even though we showed up in between lunch & dinner and were the only diners in the place. Interesting tamale with unusual and yummy toppings (B.Q. pulled pork or Chorizo/Jalapeno) which we split and had half and half. A NON greasy flauta - which is rare. Delightful chicken enchilada, plenty of sour cream and guacamole. Hubby loved his taco and the sweet corn cake was reminiscent of the one they used to serve (that I loved) at El Toritos. The wait staff was very friendly and delightful to chat with and didnt leave us waiting very long. The decor was very creative with lots of colorful touches and Mexican artwork. We cant wait to stop there again when were on that side of the state. Good "Mexican" IS hard to find in New York.

Mediocre, not sure why people are raving for this. I think it is a local favorite, since there is not much else in way of Mexican Cuisine. I got the Combo Platter and the fish taco was edible. The enchilada is a mess, the flautas are not that interesting. The rice, refried beans, and corn pudding were sooooo dry. Incredibly, unbelievably dry. There is absolutely no way this is fresh, same with the pico. The refried beans had a hard "chunk" of beans that was just a dry lump. I personally wouldnt recommend.

Fantastic service and food! I had a brand new bag that was ripped because of a metal piece on one of the restaurants chairs. The manager offered to replace it right away and apologized profusely, no questions asked. You dont often see that level of customer service anymore and it was much appreciated! I will absolutely continue dining at Arriba Tortilla and will keep recommending it to my friends/family! Thanks for a great experience and amazing Flautas!

An absolute go to for Authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is very fresh and always delicious!! The handcrafted dressing is also very good. I get the combo platter with Flauntas, salad, beans & rice. The corn pudding is amazing!! . Great new location in beautiful East Aurora. If you like Mexican Fast Food or heated up frozen food then you will probably not like it here. Fresh & Authentic describes Arriba Tortilla!!

Tried the Tamales which were quite tasty. It would have been good to know the pulled pork had a BBQ sauce that was not Mexican in nature.. more southern us, and a bit sweet. I may have had the chicken instead had I known. Apart from that service is quick and super friendly. The restaurant makes you feel like youre in Mexico and is clean. If passing this way in the future Id definitely return.

We have eaten here several times and the food is always excellent. Every soup tried has been amazing! Their regular salsa is good, but we love that now they have a spicier version too that you can mix in to make it as hot as you want. The service is very friendly and the portions are HUGE - we never leave hungry. So glad they came to town! :)

Arribss is the BEST Mexican food anywhere! We love this place and go regularly. I would highly recommend Arribas to everyone! If we cant eat-in, we take-out. The food is fantastic and we love the fresh new perspective on Mexican food. We look forward to supporting Arribas in their new location! So excited they are staying in East Aurora.

It was excellent food and great service it was just insanely hot inside the restaurant and there was no relief outside either. I had the seafod chile relleno and i was really great. I was impressed with the combination of flavors. To put goat cheese with all of the great seafood was a great combo. Follow it all with a flan.

Went to this place on a whim and after reading reviews. Decor is awesome, but the food and service is even better - it was hard to pick something, theres TONS of options. Food was amazing and crazy fast. Granted, I was here for lunch, so maybe the service is a normal speed during busier hours. Definitely would come again.

I had a really enjoyable dinner here last night. Although the wait for our food was incredibly long, and we had to ask a couple of times for water, I believe they were short staffed at the time. Food was on point and delicious. Drinks were affordable and tasty. Starter and free chips & salsa were a nice addition.

We were excited to see a new Mexican Restaurant here. Ive got to say, this had to be the worst mexican food Ive ever had in Western New York (and there arent may great ones that I know of around here) We literally left half of our food on the plate. Not a great experience. Wont go back again

First time at this restaurant, with my girlfriend. A very pleasant experience. The food was excellent and the waitress was attentive without being clingy. Its our new favorite place and we will be going back. I would highly recommend this establishment to my family and friends.

Arriba is not your typical mexican resturant. Here they actually serve authentic Mexican cuisine from Flauntas to taquitos to tacos. The new location is also pretty nice as well away from the main road. The place is kept very tidy, has nice decorations, lighting and mexican music.
