Food poison, diarrhea caused by Eggs Benedict. On July 31, 2015 my friend and I had breakfast at the Carle Place Diner approx. time, Noon. He is from another State. A new item on the menu was Eggs Benedict. My friend, ordered the Eggs Benedict. Hes had Eggs Benedict all over the world including many times transatlantic on Queen Elizabeth 2. He is an expert on Eggs Benedict. Shortly after starting, he gave in a 5 out of 10. Worst than average. Later that day, diarrhea started, caused by food poisoning, and continued throughout the night and next day. If you want food poisoning, then diarrhea, order Eggs Benedict. Be assured youll get it at Carle Place Diner, 151 Old Country Rd., Carle Place, Long Island, NY.

Great service, large portions, reasonable price, food quality eh. The first time I ate there got a steak sandwich that was supposed to be on toasted bread instead it was a soggy roll. I let that go and went back a week later and ordered chicken parmigian, first they brought a nice basket of bread but the large bread had a musty smell, then the chicken parm was good and plentiful but the spaghetti was sour and doughy meaning it was probably pretty old and on its way out. It really is a shame because the service is great and the portions are generous, if the food was as good as the service I would give them 5 stars, I will probably give them 1 more chance maybe Ill try some eggs or a burger perhaps that might be better.

We eat in alot of diners and carle Place Diner is by far our favorite. They are very accommadation whether you want the air conditioning lowered or if you want your food prepred a special way. They make the best home fries. I get them with xtra onions and peppers. Their lunches, salads, meals are above average. The staff is all nice and well mannered and the place is spotless and there is a section of boothes that are really nice looking . You dont even feel like you are in a diner-thats a huge compliment! I highly recommend it.

Was never able to head in to try the food. Brought a group here, parking lot was pretty well empty so I pulled the bus off to the side. Mind you, group of twenty, I took up 4 spots with the bus. Some guy comes out telling me I have to leave, bus cant stay, its sunday, thats all he could say. If thats the service outside, imagine the service inside. Group set the place up in advance and everything.

The Carle place diner is a cornerstone for society itself. Exceptional menu with enough choices that even your pickiest friends cant say theres nothing here I can eat, service that doesnt compare to anywhere else (like how my water is always full and I dont even see it happen), and of course delicious food. Coming here will change how you see diners as a whole; and put them all to a higher standard.

I brought my friend here for a birthday breakfast. He ordered blueberry pancakes eggs, bacon and hot chocolate. He enjoy his breakfast said the blueberry pancakes had plenty of blueberries. As for myself I had steak, eggs hash brown and tea and lemon. I enjoyed everything but the hash browns. Establishment very clean. Service was okay. Bathroom ok.... but could have been better

My wife Josephine and I Jerry, eat there often. We bring along a couple of our nephews, also. We love their Greek salad, and blue fish. We got to know Oscar, their waiter, who we got to know very well. He treats us like a family. Many others who work there have gotten to know us by now, and they all trat us like a family.

Food was awful. It was spaghetti that lacked everything except a burnt taste. Tried to get the waiters attention to tell him that we were not pleased with our food. He completely ignored us. When I spoke to him he never responded. First time that we went there and it will be the last time.

I had a work dinner here in April, I got the eggs Benedict and was shocked at the size of the serving for the price!! Three people could have enjoyed my dinner! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! I will definitely be returning here I the future!!

Decent food(typical diner fare), good portion sizes, clean bathroom thats regularly checked. The waiter was friendly but not overly friendly. My party of 3 got our food in really good time, though we only ordered burgers. I would come back. Very spacious.

Been coming here since I was a little girl. Quick service even during the busy hours. Waiters are friendly and always in a great mood. I have brought all my friends here. They have options for every diet. Would give it 100 stars if I could.

Worst waiter all he said was "Im super busy" "get it yourself" and the plates were discustingly dirty we literally got up and left please stay away from such a horrible location. By the way this is coming from an experienced A class waiter.

Their food is what you would expect at any good diner: not excesive prices, large variety and good service. Though if theyre short on staff you might not get to enjoy the best service, but it is definitely one of those spots you gotta try

After an early morning doctors appointment, this is a nice place to grab a tasty burger or some fresh seafood...found this place through my sister. Only one drawback...a rather small parking lot which can be crowded during peak hours.
