My boyfriend and I came here over the weekend to celebrate my graduation from college. I have to say that the food and drinks were amazing! The hostess was very nice and the decor was warm. I was going to give 1 star but because of these things Im giving it 2 stars. Our server was unbelievably rude. I wish I could remember his name. He gave us an attitude from the second he came up to our table but I let it go because I just wanted to celebrate my accomplishment. After dinner, my boyfriend tried to get our server to come closer so he could discretely order a surprise dessert for me without me noticing and our server replied "nah bro, im good." So my boyfriend then had to say the request out loud and ruin the surprise. It was really disappointing that the server acted that way towards us. The food was great but I dont think we will be coming back here based on the service.

By far one of my most favorite places to eat. My boyfriend introduced me to Besito in Roslyn for our first Valentines Day 2 years ago and we absolutely love this place. The ambiance is very romantic but not awkward for a first date or just a gathering of friends. I am in love with the wall separating the kitchen area from the seating area with the squares and the candles- I hope to one day be able to replicate that in my own home. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The bar is very pretty and can come up with anything that youre in the mood for. The table side guacamole is a must- its always fun to watch it being made and it tastes delicious, its made to your liking so if theres anything yuo want left out or more of they will make it for you.

The word "Incompetence " comes to mind. Called on Saturday to make a birthday reservation for 17 people, was told "we are too busy please call back". Called again on Sunday, they took all my info, party date etc., then told me they would have to call me back, "they needed to look into it". Ok..... Tuesday rolled around, no call from them so I called them back just to be told "we do not take reservations for large partys on Saturdays, sorry we cant help you. WTF!!!!!! Couldnt they just said that from the very beginning??? Cant rate the food, will never eat there for sure. Be aware of you need reservations.

The food was amazing and it had to be by far the best Mexican Restaurant i have been to. We had the crabcakes, Flautas, shrimp Tamales and Fish Tacos which were all superb. My favorite had to be the fish tacos which were perfect. for dinner we had the Carnitas Enchiladas which was delightful. for dessert we had Tres Leches cake which was moist but not at all soggy. The service was on point as well and they were able to efficiently do there job without being noticed or bothersome. They even made the Guacamole table side. his place would be perfect for a first date or a night out with friends or family.

I made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday a week and a half in advance and called this very same number, spoke to a young lady, gave my name number and they asked occasion for visiting and said it was my girlfriends bday, they said ok we will see you on such date. .... Showed up on the date of reservation and turns out the lady either forget or didnt feel like making the reservation, they called me crazy .. Meanwhile i drove from Staten Island to visit this place... Staff "couldnt do anything" and wait time was one hour and half.. Ended up going to mojave in Astoria great food!

I used to be devoted to Poco Loco. Our last trip there we were treated so rudely and the food was so bad we swore we would never go back. This place rocks Mexican food. Very creative and inventive dishes everything is always fresh and plentiful. Servers are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Very pleasant atmosphere also. No is level gets a little high but the amount of people it draws explain s that. . We found our new Poco Loco

As someone who doesnt typically love Mexican food, I was stunned at how delicious the meals and drinks were and actually left me craving to return and try more! The table-side guacamole is a signature dish, as is the Besito Margarita, both of which I would highly recommend. The decor was very cozy, even if lacking in comfort for a few of the tighter, smaller tables.

The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. Make sure you try the Besito Margarita, its a must. The staff are very pleasant, professional and accommodating. Enjoyed the fresh guacamole prepared right at the table....great starter. Ordered a fish entree that was perfectly cooked and had a very nice blend of spices. Was watching my calories so I skipped dessert.

Had a great lunch. Service was excellent. Ambiance was great. Only reason it didnt get 5 stars is bc the tortillas werent homemade, but the flavor of the rest of the taco made up for it. Salsa was really good. Most places their salsa tastes like ketchup and ruins the meal from the beginning. Im highly critical of Mexican food and had a really good experience.

Ive been to many restaurants in Long Island and in the city. I judge a restaurant not just on food, but by the service and experience. Service and experience was painful. Hostess did not do her job of welcoming me and my family. Wait time for food was too long, and no effort to ensure my experience could be salvaged. Never again.

Delicious food every single time. Mame reservations because ive always seen a crowd here. Their tortilla soup is amazing. In fact, whatever you order is going to be incredible. Their service is fantastic. Their staff is knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and professional. Hands down one of my favorite places to eat.

The only thing I can say is the service was good and so were the drinks. The food on the other hand wasnt. I took 2 bites of my crap/shrimp tortilla dish and wanted to send it back. Ive visited Besito for lunch and dinner and both times I thought the food was lacking. I do recommend the red sangria

The waiter was rude, disrespectful, and could not even take an order correctly. He brought the wrong food then told me that the restaurant was not "taco bell". What a joke. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

Service wasnt great. Waited 15 min for my drink. The food was drowning in sauce - it was awful. We returned one dish. The guacamole wasnt even good. Its just a high end chain. Not worth the money

I have never had service this bad. Food want any good either. My plate alone had to be sent back 3 separate times... twice for the exact same reason. I will never go back here for any reason.

This is easily the best Mexican restaurant in my area. Service and atmosphere are excellent, but the food is what has me coming back consistently. The Huntington location is great as well
