Cafe 128 has quickly become a favorite. A small, basement level establishment located steps from the State House, they brew excellent coffee and tea, and have a wide variety of Boylans Soda and other bottled drinks. What really shines about this place is the food. Its awesome. Breakfast or lunch, you can get something really, really good for a decent price. The options are somewhat familiar - mostly soups, salads, and sandwiches - but in the best possible way. Though I get why they operate Monday through Friday, I wish they were open on the weekend. Itd give me another reason to come to Trenton!

Their $9 daily pizza is a shareable steal. Plentiful really excellent sauce, good mozzarella and BACON. And they have sushi. Call ahead if youre pressed for time. Park in the NJ State Library parking garage. And the pop-up parklet is going to be back, hopefully in April.

Tiny slice of Montclair in the middle of Trenton. Right across from the State House. Good coffee, good food. Adequate seating indoors and outdoor seating on nice days. There was live music today outside the cafe.

Food was good, but the service had a lot to be desired. They forgot part of my order and it was a cup of coffee. Music was also too loud. Would go again, but for takeout only unless that is all fixed.

Great coffee, nice atmosphere, good food. However they need to improve ventilation to prevent grilling smells being absorbed on your clothes.

I ordered a cappuccino and it was good. They have lattes n local roasted coffee. A solid food menu. Very clean. Nice people.
