The Riverside Cafe is a hidden gem in the Catskills. We have eaten here a number of times and everything is always delicious. Home baked bread and fresh delicious salad with outstanding homemade dressing accompany dinner. We shared the mixed sauteed mushrooms on spinach with feta and sunflower seeds. Delicious. I had the pork loin with cider gravy and red cabbage. And a potato I didnt even touch. So good. My husband had the Schnitzel and really enjoyed it. My daughter had crab cakes and my son and my daughters boyfriend has a pasta with chicken that was very tasty. They have local beers too. Too full for dessert, but have had desserts there in the past. Our server was very sweet and the view is so lovely. We really enjoy coming here when we are upstate.

Absolutely worth the trip if your anywhere near here.The food and the service deserve more than 5 stars.We have eaten at many restaurant and this one is in the top 3 for sure from the appetizers to the homemade mixed berry pie with creme fresh everything was top notch.We will Definitely be back here next time we are in town!! Highly recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed.A bit pricey $100.00 from apps to desert and tip.. but worth EVERY penny.

Easily the best restaurant for many miles around. The owner, Tammy, is from the Culinary Institute and The Riverside has all the hallmarks: fresh, homemade breads, incredible soups, and complex salads. There are daily specials that are imaginative and always make a trip here an adventure. Bring you appetite; servings are generous. The owners husband, Danny, presides over the only authentic fly-fishing bar left in the Catskills. This place is a catch!

You are in for a surprise when you find and eat at this wonderful restaurant! The food here is first class and would stand up to any New York City restaurant. The setting is beautiful overlooking the Beaverkill river. The food is incredible and afordable. There are specials every day along with a well diversed menu. The chef is trained in the culinary arts institute. Her husband runs the bar and restaurant area. Try the lamb chops!

As a fly-fisherman, I spend a lot of time visiting the Roscoe area. The Riverside is a great place for a nice dinner in a relaxing, friendly atmosphere. Whether you order from their outstanding dinner menu or more causual bar menu, the food will be great. If youre looking for dinner in the Roscoe area, look no further.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The last time I was there, I had baked local trout stuffed with crabmeat - it was incredibly good. Very attentive staff, great views of the river, great desserts too. I cant recommend it highly enough -

Been coming here for years. A family favorite. Chef is CIA-trained. Dining room has a scenic view of the Beaver kill. Food is delicious with steak, pork loin, chops but also lighter fare like pasta and crab cakes. Great bar.
